Magic Knight

Speciality

Magic Knight is a swordsman with some magic abilities. He has a flaming fist that throws fireballs to both distract and destroy. This gives the otherwise close quarter fighter a few ranged attacks that can be combined to make the hot headed Elsword an incendiary opponent. The Magic Knight is uniquely suited to control large mobs.

Background


First Class Advancement

Elsword is required to be Lv15 to begin his first class advancement.


Knight

  1. Kill 18 Phorus at Wally's Castle on any difficulty.
  2. Kill 8 Thief Commanders at Banthus Cave on Hard mode or above
  3. Talk to Ruichel (Jeweler in Elder).
  4. Clear Banthus Cave on Very Hard mode (☆☆☆) within 8 minutes.


After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as Sword Knight or Magic Knight.


Magic Knight

  1. Clear Underground Waterway on Hard mode or above within 10 minutes.
    • Collect 30 drops from the Green Magicians at Shadow Forest on any difficulty.
    • Collect 10 drops from the White Magicians at Underground Waterway on any difficult.
    • 5 Medium MP Potions (Can be bought from Helen or Echo).
  2. Clear Wally's Castle on Hard mode or above (☆☆+) with at least a B rank.
  3. Collect 1 drop from Wally Guardians at Wally's Caste on Very Hard mode. (☆☆☆)


At Lv35, Magic Knight can advance into Rune Slayer.


Gameplay

Combos

Image Description
Knockback Combo

This combo's main use is disperse or group enemies together. Generally, it isn't used as often as his other two new combos.

Dash Combo

Magic Knight's dash combo is great for fighting a group of enemies, or evading a hit. In PvP this combo can come in handy for avoiding enemies when you are low on HP. The fireball also deals high magic damage, perfect for opponents with high physical defense.

Aerial Combo

His aerial combo is good for sniping from a range, or fighting against flying monsters. It is also good for trapping an enemy to start a combo, since it has a bit of stun lock after it hits. Just like his dash combo, the aerial combo releases a fireball with high magic damage which is strong against opponents with high physical defense.
