Tips and Details
- The skill will split into two bullets (three bullets at a 50% chance) upon hitting the first target. These bullets each do their initial hit and normal damage once to that initial target, before searching another target to bounce to.
- The skill deals hits for as long as the bullet's duration lasts. Because the duration starts the moment the bullet appears, and not when it first splits, you must attack at point blank range of the first target to deal the most amount of hits possible.
- [Enhanced] Flick Shot will continue to hit the same target if there aren't multiple targets to ricochet off of, making it a very powerful tool for most boss fights. If used point blank so the bullet starts dealing damage the moment it appears, it can deal 8,840% Magical Damage (3,496% in PvP) with 2 bullets or 13,260% Magical Damage (5,244% in PvP) with 3.
- Flick Shot's homing tends to seek out new targets and won't often ricochet backwards if given the opportunity. This makes the skill significantly less reliable for clearing groups of mobs. Worse still, the bullets are not restricted to targeting the next closest target either, making them fly off towards a far off enemy (and expiring in the process) more often than not.
- Because of this unreliability, it is mostly a tool for gaining CP quickly (4 CP for 160 MP with Light) rather than actually clearing mobs.
