There is a two-second fatigue state after the explosion ends, leaving Raven vulnerable to any attacks.

This skill is used by Lord of Pain Valak when summoned through the use of a Monster Card.
The now-defunct Mysterious Aspirations equipment set could summon Mysterious Aspirations of Monarch Valak, who had a random chance of using this skill as well, though it also had a chance to only drop the shell without it exploding.
