Special Status Effects

Special Status Effects are mainly status effects obtained by special skills or moves. For example, El-enchanted weapons. These status effects are shown by a small image on top of the character.

  • Hit by Fire El Stone Enchanted Weapons.
  • Hit by some Burning-enchant related attacks and skills.
  • Hit by Fire Orbs.

Frozen
  • Certain percentage of Defense Ignored by attack.
  • Reduces victim's Movement and Jump Speed.
  • Hit by Water El Stone Enchanted Weapons.
  • Hit by Freezing-enchant related attacks and skills.

Poisoned
  • Certain percentage of Attack Speed Reduced.
  • Constant drop in HP.
  • Possible to die by this Status Effect.
  • Hit by Nature El Stone Enchanted Weapons.
  • Hit by Poisoning-enchant related attacks and skills.
  • Hit by Nature Orbs.

Petrified
  • Victim is encased in stone and cannot move and will not be knocked down for a period of time.
  • Victim's Defense will increase by 10% while turned into stone.
  • Hit by Light El Stone Enchanted Weapons

  • Decreases Physical Defense by a certain percentage.

  • Decreases Movement, Jump and Attack Speed by a certain percentage.

  • Possible to die by this Status Effect.

      • Movement, Jump and Attack Speed percentage has been greatly decreased.
        • Now this effect has nearly similar to getting Soul Link.

  • Movement Controls reversed; In other words, left becomes right, right becomes left.
    • Up and down not affected.

  • Hit by "Aging" Skill.
  • Hit by Dark Orb.
  • Hit by Ghost summoned by Feita's Royal Knight set (Blessed or Regular)

  • Increases damage done to the affected individual.
  • Decreases Movement Speed by a certain percentage.

  • Affected individual cannot move for a period of time.
  • Ailment will disappear if affected individual is hit.

  • Victim has flattened.
  • Affected individual cannot attack.
  • Affected individual cannot be hit by any horizontal attacks.

Monster Stun (No Longer applies in KR)
  • Affected individual cannot move for a period of time.
  • Ailment will disappear if affected individual is hit.

Leg Wound
  • New icon for the old Bleed (KR) after Veteran Commander was released.
  • Affected individual cannot run; is forced to walk.
  • Constant drop in HP.
Puppet Debuff
  • Attacks can affect teammates for the duration of the debuff (Anger of Raven may affect teammates even after the debuff is gone).
Panic
  • Causes the effected target to receive an increased critical rate from the one that caused the status and his/her teammates.
  • In PvP, this status causes your movement controls to reverse (like Confusion), and switch back to normal. However, this constantly switches controls unlike Confusion.
Fear
  • Causes the effected target to receive an increased critical rate from the one that caused the status and his/her teammates.
  • In PvP, this status causes skills to be unusable.

Marked By Delay Fire
  • Target is marked with Delay Fire Debuff. Getting hit by 'Twig' Shots will increase stack on mark.

Shield Debuff
  • Target receives additional damage.

Bleed
  • High constant drop in HP.
  • Possible to die by this Status Effect.

  • Targets with this Status Effect receive a hit separate from the user's.
Strong Shot
  • Ignore targets defenses.
Bind
  • Evasion reduced.
Pressure
  • Affected individual cannot move for a period of time.
  • Unlike Stunned, ailment will not disappear if affected individual is hit.
  • Reduce physical and magical defenses by a certain percentage
Armor Crack
  • Reduce physical and magical defenses by a certain percentage


Unique Status Effects

Unique Status Effects are those higher level status effects only obtainable by exclusive, unique ways.

Status Effect How to activate
Super Armour
  • Character will have a red outline.
  • You still receive damage, but cannot stagger.
  • Stoic.
  • Super Armor Buff.
  • Knocked down Monsters.
  • Certain Character/Monster attacks.
  • Coat of Non-Aggressive Arms.
  • Unaggresive Aura
Invulnerability
  • Visual effect varies over characters and entities.
  • You will become intangible.
  • Most Special Active Skills and some Active Skills.
  • Some monster skills can also grant them momentary invulnerability.
Heavy Stance
  • Exclusive to Chung.
  • Makes him unable to be knocked down, but cannot attack unless he makes use of a counterattack.
  • Guard
  • Some attacks in Chung's combo gives him momentary Heavy Stance.
Agility
  • You get an epic shadow that follows you frame by frame.
  • Provides 20% Movement and Jump Speed.
  • Sometimes this merely appears as a visual effect to skills.
  • Sprinter's Potion
Giant
  • Character becomes bigger and larger by 130%, and consequently range of attacks increase.
  • Character becomes more vulnerable to attacks due to the size increase.
  • Increase in damage by 150%.
  • Giant's Potion
Dwarf
  • Character becomes miniature-sized by 50% and consequently range of attacks decrease.
  • Character becomes less vulnerable to attacks due to the size decrease.
  • Increased MP Regen.

Awakening
  • Your character will have colours of various shades (varies over character).
  • For more information go to Awakening Mode.
  • Press Ctrl when you have at least 1 Awakening Bead.
  • Acquire Awakening potion from box.
Big Head
  • Size of head increase
  • Movement and jump speed decrease
  • Random on obtaining dungeon potion.
Mechanized Agility
  • You get an blue epic shadow that follows you frame by frame
  • Gives 20% more attack speed.
  • An effect that occurs only in Mechanized Weapons obtained in 2-x.
Phoenix Talon Agility
  • You get an red epic shadow that follows you frame by frame.
  • Provides 20% Movement and Jump Speed.
  • Absorbs small projectiles and converts them to a certain amount of MP.
Dark Elf Agility
  • Creates a pink epic shadow that follows frame by frame.
Aura of Darkness
  • Turns the entity into a purple shade.
  • Increases the Monster's Defense while decreasing the Character's Defense.
  • Increases nearby Monsters' Defense if in range.
Bubble Stun
  • Encapsulates players into a bubble.
  • You will be unable to move.
Curse
  • Your character will become purple.
  • You will constantly lose mana.
Ice
  • A snowflake-like icon will appear on your character.
  • This effect is similar to getting Petrified
