• This costume set was one of the first to be designed by a non-company artist, PiKA (피카보살), excluding those from the Costume Contest. Royal Butterfly is additionally the second costume set designed by PiKA, with the first being ELS Office Wear.
• PiKA has also drawn skill cut-ins for each character - one in each color palette - which are available to purchase from the Item Mall.

• The set is likely a reference to Zhuang Zhuo's famous poem, The Butterfly Dream.
