High Magician

Specialty

The High Magician gains more firepower, abilities, and an expanded mana pool.She gains abilities that revolve around the four elements Ice,Fire,Wind and lightning.Her skills all have very diverse Properties and statues causing effect such a burning and freezing.This Allows her to wipe out a whole areas of enemies with her Blizzard shower or target individuals with Magic Missile or Chain Lightning at her will.This combined with her high magical damage and long ranged fireball combos makes her the perfect class to have in a party, to watch your back.

Background

The High magician comes with more fire power and improved abilities. After communing with all of the elements that exist in this world, she has discovered a unified theory of natural magic. This makes her both extremely powerful and maybe a little wild. Her fireballs are no less than mini suns that can melt a monster's face off.

First Class Advancement

 
High Magician can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: High Magician's Lost Memory

Aisha is required to be Lv15 to begin her first class advancement.
After completing the Magician quest chain, Aisha can decide between advancing as High Magician, Dark Magician, or Battle Magician.

High Magician

  1. Collect a Necklace from Boss: William in 2-4 on Very Hard Mode(☆☆☆).
  2. Collect 2 High Quality Lubricant from crossbow soldier at 2-5 on any difficulty.
  3. Clear 2-5 on Hard Mode(☆☆) or above while taking less than 50 hits.
  4. Talk to Echo, the Alchemist of Elder.
    • After talking, re-enter Elder to complete quest.


At Lv35, a High Magician can advance into an Elemental Master.

  Fireball Combo

Aisha shoots out 2 small fireballs that pierce through 2 enemies and then fires a larger fireball backwards.

  • Be careful, when you have learnt the passive Freezing Point Research, for an unknown reason, this skill makes combo XX < X knock down.

  • KR 3/29/2012 patch:

Aisha shoots out two fireballs and then makes a fiery explosion that surrounds her, burning any nearby enemy.

  • If attacked just before the first hit of surrounding fire, the animation will still carry on and attack the enemy, creating an opening for a combo.
  • High Mage's old >>^XX combo was given to her Base Job. However, as Void Princess gets Dark Ball and Battle Magician gets Starball (during job advancement), only High Magician/Elemental Master and Dark Magician can use it.

Trivia

  • High Magician is the only class to use an AoE Special Active that continues to damage outside of activation while being able to move the entire area of effect with the skill, Blaze Step.
  • Magic Missile is the only skill in High Magician's skill tree that is pure magic instead of being one of the four elements.
    • However, it activating Elemental Master's Elements' Friendly brought some people to think it was an Ice/Water based magic.
