Socketing Equipment
In Elsword, many equipment (Avatar, Weapons and Armors) contain sockets, which can be socketed with certain gems to add special effects to the equipment. These can range from increase in Critical Hit Rate to an increase in Element Resistance.
Guide
1) Open your inventory menu (i) and click on the 2nd button to the left (It has a gem icon).
2) Click on the equipment you wish to socket.
3) A new window opens, showing the item's sockets. The amount of sockets your armor/weapon has depends on it's rarity. The more rare the equipment is, the more slots it will have.
4) To use a socket, drag the gem you wish to use onto the gray box and click on the button on the bottom right of the window.
5) You have now socketed your equipment! Repeat if you want different stats/higher values.
You can only socket gems if you have sufficient ED. This amount needed is shown in the box at the bottom of the window.
