Every character in Elsword has their own unique features that sets them apart from other characters.
Basic Information
When playing Elesis, there will be an additional gauge below the MP bar. This Chivalry gauge will enable you to activate "Knight of Gale" or "Knight of Annihilation" for a period of time.
Depending on the type of combo attack (e.g. Z and X key moves) or skill you use, the gauge will lean towards Gale or Annihilation. While in either "Knight of Gale" or "Knight of Annihilation", you will receive special benefits.
Note that the system they use is not what what it may appear to be at first; gale-based attacks take away gale from the gauge, leaning the gauge towards annihilation; annihilation-based attacks take away annihilation from the gauge, leaning the gauge towards gale; this is why only attacks that use the gauge area affected in the respective aura.
Aura Chart
Skill Aura
Knight of Gale
When the gauge is completely blue (by using Annihilation-type moves), the "Aura of Gale" will be unleashed in the form of an azure aura.
While in this form, you will receive the following benefits:
- Increased Attack Speed, movement speed, and jump speed.
- Every 5 hit, you will receive a buff that will increase your MP gain by 5%. (Last 5 seconds and can be stacked 5 times.)
- Any attack counts for those 5 hits. It is possible to maintain the increased MP gain buff purely with Annihilation-based combos, Actives, Special Actives, or Mount attacks, such as Moby Chariot, although these will not benefit from it.
- Gale-based combos will have 40% reduction in Knockdown rate.
- Gale-based skills cost 40% (20% for PvP) less mana for both mana usage and usage requirements.
- Some Special Actives will change from 100MP to 60 MP, 200MP to 120 MP, 250 MP to 150 MP, 300 MP to 180 MP
- Gale-based skills also reduce their cooldown time greatly by 75% (50% in PvP).
Knight of Annihilation
When the gauge is completely red (by using Gale-type moves), the "Spirit of Annihilation" will be unleashed in the form of a crimson aura.
- Annihilation-based combos, actives, skills will have a 100% critical rate and will ignore defensive stances, such as Iron Paladin's Guard and PvE opponents with the ability to guard. Knocked-down opponents also receive full damage. They also benefit from a 1.5x damage increase before the critical hit. (Damage will be effectively 2.25 times the normal non-crit value.)
- Additional 1.5x damage increase before critical hit only applies to combos, Actives, and Special Actives will only receive the 100% critical chance benefit.
- While Annihilation is active, if you are hit while holding down Z/X, Elesis will bounce away enemies when attacked and enter Stoic mode for a few seconds, at the cost of aura gauge instead of mana.
- This wears off roughly 1/3 or more of the gauge, depending of how much you charge it.
- Like Mana Break, you will not enter Stoic mode if you does not have enough gauge.
- Annihilation-based combos and Actives have an increased chance to proc elements.
- Elesis gets an increased Chances to hit as long as she is in Knight of Annihilation mode.

Tips and Details
- The Super Armor effect from Knight of Annihilation can be activated if you're hit by Dynamo Configuration - Pylons from an ally.
- Grand Master can manually activate the Annihilation's Super Armor by holding Z/X and casting War Prelude.
- If Knight of Annihilation is active, Elesis can ignore Joaquin's shield if she uses Annihilation combos and skills.
- Knight of Annihilation can also negate Extreme Heavenly Love if the red bar is full and Extreme Heavenly Love is cast, thus losing the effects from Extreme Heavenly Love.
Trivia
- Although Elesis' Chivalry System is different from Elsword's Way of the Sword system, the idle poses for Annihilation/Destruction and Gale/Vitality modes are similar.
- The gauges for Elesis' Annihilation and Gale modes use Rune Slayer and Lord Knight's promotion costume swords as well.
