Skill notes are various "notes" that can be used to permanently enhance the ability of a particular skill. In order to use skill note, you will need to have completed the Skill Book quest from Ariel, or buy the cash Skill Book from the cash shop. There are 2 types of Skill Notes: Special Skill Notes and Active Skill Notes. There are also Cash Notes of each respective type which cost money to purchase.

Special Skill Notes

As a monster drop

Special Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Special Actives, and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These skill notes tend to be valued highly in the market, due to the usefulness of the characteristics they grant.

Active Skill Notes

Active Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Actives and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These notes, too, tend to be fairly expensive in the market.

*Notes obtained through quests or the Cash Shop are untradeable. Cash Skill Notes however can be sent as Gifts in some versions of Elsword.

Skill Book Quest

Speak to Ariel when you are Lv. 20 and accept the Skill Book quest (As an alternative, you can buy the Skill Book from the Cash Shop)

Step 1: Complete 3-1 and 3-2 on Very Hard mode.

Step 2: Collect 20 Fine Leathers (from the Fire Komodos in the Bethma Region) and 4 Bethma Native Dyestuffs.


Skill Notes Quest

Bethma Blacksmith, Toma

  • Step 1:
    • Collect 100 High Quality Iron Ores from Nasods in 3-5.
    • Collect 20 Zinc Fragments from Nasod Transporters in 3-5.
  • Step 2: Destroy 8 Mines in 3-5.

Camilia, the PvP woman

  • Step 1: Clear 4-1 on Very Hard under 8 minutes.
  • Step 2: Defeat 35 Nasod Scouts Type-L and 5 Corrupt Nasod Drillers in 4-2.
  • Step 3: Collect 4 Nasod Cores from Ignis or Leviathan in 4-4.

Adds 3 more hits to the skill, and makes the hits 50% faster and further. 		  Complete Skill Note Quest from Bethma Blacksmith, Toma.
  Skill Note Name: A Man's Retreat (NA) / (남자는 물러설 때를 안다-"I know when men retreat")
If the skill missed at the first hit, the skill will be canceled immediately and Elsword will recover 50% MP. Cannot mp break after the second hit. There will also be 20% damage increase. 		  From monster drop

Increases the height and width of Flame Geyser's fire by 20%. Target will also burn for 10 seconds. Also decreases hit count.

Reduces targets' MP by 50 		  From Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: Quantitative Improvement Ⅰ (NA) / (양적 향상에 대한 생각 ㅣ-"Thoughts on the Quantitative Improvementㅣ")
Increases the hit count of each blade by two (totaling up to six hits per blade) and adds one additional blade to each side (total of six blades) 		  From Cash Shop


Sheath Knight

  Skill Note Name: 꿰뚫는 검 - Piercing Sword
50% to do a Leg Wound debuff to targets for 5 seconds. 		  From Cash Shop

50% chance to deal 20% more damage which also ignores defenses for the final slash. 		  From Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: 칼의 비 - Knife rain
Doubles the amount of blades. Each Sword is only 60% of the original Damage. 		  From Cash Shop


Aisha

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
  Skill Note Name: Soul Movement (NA) / (영혼 이동에 대한 메모-"Soul Movement Memo")
During teleportation, you will be invincible for 0.5 seconds. However, MP cost will be increased by 40%. 		  From Monster Drop
  Skill Note Name: Burn Baby Burn (NA) / (재벌 구이 방법-"Burning Method Ninety-Two")
Increases the time of burning by 10 seconds. 		  From Monster Drop
  Skill Note Name: Shock & Awe (NA) / (200% 과충전 쇼크-"200% Overcharge shock")
Target will be stunned for 2.5 sec after the first hit of the thunder bolt.

Reduces the speed of the binded enemies by 20% for 10 seconds. 		  Complete Skill Note Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.

Dark Mage

On hit, it decreases movement & jump speed by 30% and poison duration increases by 5 seconds . 		  From Cash Shop


High Mage

25% increase in movement speed when you meditate (Walking). (33% in german version)
  • As of 29/03/12 patch, KR Meditation note status - Remove movement speed reduction penalty (making movement speed become normal during Meditation)

  Skill Note Name: Explosive Bubble Pop (NA) / (열기 폭발-"Open Explosion")
Fireballs become 20% larger and all fireballs will cause burns. 		  From Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: The Newest Missle (NA) / (생각대로 미사일-"Ideal Missile")
Magic Missile's speed increases by 50% and maximum hits increase by 2 		  From Cash Shop


Battle Magician

MP Consumed increase by 10% (Uses 220MP). The range of the skill increased. 		  From Cash Shop

Decreases the cool-down after shots by 10%, helping you fire more arrows faster. 		  From Monster Drop

The Stinger can now pierce through 4 enemies and the damage is increased by 15%.
  • The Stinger can now pierce through 4 enemies and the damage is increased by 20% in the German version.
  • The Stinger can now pierce through 4 enemies only in the Korean version after the 29 March Korean patch.
   Complete the Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
  Skill Note Name: Know your Strength III (NA) / (처음은 살살 III-"Easy Start III")
First Shot of the Stinger arrows do not knock down the opponent. 		  Monster Drop

Trapping Ranger

Chances of Traps exploding changed to 100%. MP Consumed decrease by 5 MP. 		  From Cash Shop

After a short time it will chase nearby targets, however it can't go up. 		  From Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: 재활용을 위한 준비 - Ready for Reuse
Arrow Damage decreased by 30%. Traps explodes 2 times. 		  From Cash Shop


Raven

Increases the frequency of hits, enabling one spin to hit more often. Every hit does 75% of the original damage. 		  From Cash Shop


Over Taker

Weapon Taker

The Nasod Scout no longer knocks down when summoned and its attacks will have less knockdown ratio, cooldown is increased by 5 seconds. 		  Complete quest given by Toma, the Bethma Blacksmith.

30% Chance of not using up HP when skill is used, but increases cooldown to 8s. 		  Complete quest given by Camila, the PVP Woman.

Fury Guardian

  Skill Note Name: Autosensing Shot - (자동감응탄)
The Shell Speed decreased by 33%. Targets will be Launched upwards. The target will be hit by a third hit this way , unless you are standing too close to it. 		  Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: REAL Head Shot (REAL 헤드 샷)
30% chance of 2x damage. 		  Monster Drop

Shelling Guardian

20% chance of tossing 4 grenades.

  Skill Note Name: (수호하는 마음가짐 - "Guardian Mentality")
50% chance to give team members a wonder wall, but with only 1/3 of the effects.
(Shield power=35%, Duration=20 Seconds) 		  Cash Shop
  Skill Note Name: (3단 분열 유도탄 - "3 divided guided missiles")
After shooting, each missile will split into 3 mini versions of the shot, each shot containing 40% of a regular missile.

  Skill Note Name: (특제 폭격 세러모니 - "Special bombing ceremony")
There will be a 33% chance when firing to produce a red missile that does 165% more damage and has a larger explosion. 		  Monster Drop
