Due to its quick activation, the skill is relatively safe to use despite it lacking super armor. Still, caution is advised when surrounded by enemies.
Because the duration of this skill is much longer than the cooldown, it is possible to maintain this buff for an extremely long time if you have a constant stream of MP.
