Any monster or player character, enemy or ally alike, counts for the size/damage increase, excluding yourself.
The small blue ring surrounding you indicates the range in which targets are counted, but the check remains active as you are halfway through the backflip prior to the Mana Gust occurring. This can cause it to not gain damage facing towards an enemy outside of the range, but gain damage when facing away from it at the same distance, as the backflip puts you closer to it.
- With a 4-person party in range, even against a single mob, you will gain a 20% damage and 40% size increase.
- The damage bonus will no longer change once the explosion is cast, even if targets leave or enter the skill's area of effect.
The suction of the skill reaches around 4/5ths to the edge of the screen behind you and just shy of the edge in front. Any enemies pulled in will count as a target if they are pulled close enough in time.
The Gigantic trait has no effect on the skill's suction, but it does increase the range for both the enemy check radius as well as the gust and explosion themselves. The blue circle does not visibly increase in size however, making it a bit tricky to judge what enemies are in range for the damage/size increase.
After the 06/09/2022 patch on the Korean server, this skill's SFX is desynced from its animation.
