The explosion has a unified hitbox and will always deal 7 hits (11 with Useful) on any enemy, though if positioned properly or if the enemy is wide enough, it may take additional hits, up to 10 total (13 with Useful).
While the skill is seemingly more powerful on one side than its original counterpart, due to each individual Nasod Spear dealing less damage, it is overall worse against smaller targets.
Because the Javelins reach very far, it will be highly advantageous against large monsters such as Ancient Bone Dragon, but much less useful to average-sized monsters such as Alterasia: Type-H.
Just like the original version, the Nasod Spears all have separate hitboxes but the explosions have a unified hitbox.
