Tips and Details
- This version lacks the traveling range increase effect from using Self BuffGathered Souls, contrary to what the NA description claims. Only its size will be increased.
- The Evil Scream explosion deals splash damage, but considering the explosion's significant size, unlike other splash damage skills, it does not need enemies to be grouped together too tightly to be effective. Additionally, with the Gigantic trait, an evil scream caused on an enemy directly in front of you can hit as far as the edge of the screen behind you, allowing the skill to deal splash damage basically screen-wide, making it an excellent clearing tool in any situation, even if mobs are spread out.
- For each target within the vicinity of each other, this skill does an additional 1,764% (564% in PvP) Magical Damage.
- Because of this, this version is far superior to the regular version for clearing rooms. In return, it loses some of its strength on larger bosses or targets that are easily carried by the regular version's Evil Wave. Since you can swap between Mod and regular at will, use whichever version fits the situation best.
- Since the skill will always hit the same amount of times, this version will always do more damage with the Critical trait than the Gigantic trait when hitting the same amount of targets, unlike the normal version. However, due to immense difference in size for both the Evil Wave and Evil Scream, the Gigantic trait is still preferred.
- When used on the ground, you can act out of the skill the moment the projectile appears through movement or by using a different skill. This is not the case when used in midair however, as the skill prevents user input at all until you land.
