Phase 1

Phase 1 - Madame Corae

Phase Gimmick

Amplifying flask

Occasionally, flask-shaped objects will drop from the sky. These flasks can be detonated by certain boss attacks, causing them to explode and deal moderate damage to a large circular area around them. Players are able to destroy these flasks by using command attacks and/or active skills.

Boss Attacks		Tips
Missile Drop: A device drops down from the sky, exploding on contact. Occasionally, it will generate an electric flower shortly after landing. These flowers will periodically damage any players in close proximity.		It is possible for a flower to generate in midair. The flowers will naturally disappear after some time.
Double Missile Drop: Two devices drop down from the sky, each exploding on contact.
Electric Slam: Slams both arms down, generating electric sparks that damage any players nearby.		The boss will often pair this attack with Electric Surge.
Electric Surge: Generates a field of electricity underneath each player, which then surges upward, dealing moderate damage to any players hit and inflicting Faint for 2 seconds.
Discharge: Begins charging, creating a suction effect that draws players to her. After a few seconds, releases the stored electricity, dealing heavy damage to any players nearby.		The range of this attack is indicated by the glowing yellow circle around Madam Corae. If you jump during this attack, you will not be able to land until the attack ends.
Side Cleave: Begins storing power in hyper mode. After a few seconds, Madam Corae will release a giant electric current that covers an entire side of the arena, instantly killing any players hit. Madam Corae will release a total of three cleaving currents during this attack. Additionally, during this attack, multiple Electric Surges will be evenly spawned across the entire arena.		Madam Corae will indicate which side she is cleaving shortly before the attack goes off. While Madam Corae is storing power, players will gain significantly increased jump height, allowing them to jump over Madam Corae to the safe side. During this attack, Madam Corae will shield herself with a barrier, preventing any players from attacking. Additionally, any players who make contact with her barrier will be knocked back.
Ground Surge: Slams her arms down, generating an electric current that rapidly covers the entire ground. After a short period of time, the current explodes, detonating any Amplifying Flasks it hits.

Phase 2 - Madame Corae

Currents Gauge

A blue gauge will appear on every player's screen, representing the amount of damage reduction that Madam Corae has. This gauge starts at 80% and decreases by 5% or 10% with each successful electric charge hit.

Portals

A pair of blue portals will randomly spawn across the map. Players are able to enter one portal to teleport to the other portal. There is a 2 second cooldown in between portal usages, indicated by a Self Debuff??? debuff icon. These portals will disappear after a certain amount of time, before respawning in new locations. Additionally, when a portal disappears, an electric charge will spawn randomly on the map. These charges can be picked up by players, granting the Self BuffEnergy Charge buff, increasing Physical/Magical Attack while the charge is held. While electrically charged, players can launch the charge forwards with the Dungeon Special Function key (default: F1). If the charge is fired through a portal, it will hit Madam Corae.

If a player obtains three stacks of Self BuffEnergy Charge, they will be inflicted with Self BuffOvercharge.

It is possible for the charge to hit another player. If a player receives a charge, they will take significant damage.
Nothing will happen if a player launches a charge directly at Madam Corae. The charge must travel through a portal in order to decrease her defense gauge.

	Madame Corae awakens and emerges out of the ground.
Boss Attacks		Tips
Missile Drop: A device drops down from the sky, generating a blue electric flower upon landing. When a player comes into contact with an electric flower, they will take damage and be inflicted with Self DebuffWeapon Break for 15 seconds.		It is possible for a flower to generate in midair. The flowers will naturally disappear after some time, or upon making contact with a player.
Double Laser: Fires two lasers, dealing moderate damage.		Madam Corae will target either the upper half, or the lower half of the arena. She will often target the opposite half on the other side. eg: If she targets the lower half on the left side of the arena, she will target the upper half on the right side of the arena. This being said, it is possible for her to target both the upper and lower half of one side, though this appears to be uncommon.
Side Barrier: Generates a strong barrier to her left or right, negating any attacks on that side.		The barrier is represented by a vertical beam placed right beside Madam Corae. Players must use the portals to travel to the opposite side of Madam Corae in order to continue attacking her.
Extreme Discharge: Enters hyper mode and generates a giant electrical beam that travels from one end of the screen to the other, dealing heavy damage to any players hit.		Players are able to survive this attack by using Resurrection effects or titles, or by timing a portal usage as to avoid the beam. eg: If the beam is traveling from the top of the screen to the bottom, players should wait by the bottom-most portal. Once the beam has traveled past the top-most portal, players should enter the bottom-most portal. Players are able to damage Madam Corae during this attack. However, take note that her hyper armor state does not wear off until a few seconds after this attack pattern has ended. There are a few variations of this attack pattern: The beam spawns at the top of the screen and travels to the bottom of the screen. Two beams spawn, one on the left edge of the screen, and one on the right edge of the screen. The beams travel to the middle of the screen.
Electric Web: Generates a thin stream of electricity from the center of her body. These beams spread out to the edge of the map to create a web-like pattern. Any players who make contact with this web will take moderate damage and be inflicted with one stack of Self DebuffHigh-Voltage Cable, decreasing their Movement/Jump Speed and increasing MP usage for 10 seconds. This debuff's duration is refreshed with each stack, and it can stack up to ?? times.

Phase 3

Phase 3 - Madame Corae

Phase Gimmick

The portal mechanic from the second phase returns. However, there are now three pairs of portals - one in red, one in yellow, and one in blue. Additionally, each color pair has a unique symbol on top of the portal to help players identify them.

Boss Attacks		Tips
Missile Drop: A device drops down from the sky, generating a red electric flower upon landing. When a player comes into contact with an electric flower, they will take damage and be inflicted with Self Debuff???, increasing their skill cooldown time for 2 seconds.		It is possible for a flower to generate in midair. Unlike the electric flowers from previous phases, these red flowers will continue to linger on the field for a long period of time.
A large laser beam from high above begins targeting a random player. It will track the player's location for about 3 seconds before firing, dealing moderate damage.		It is recommended to point this laser away from the rest of the party, if possible. The laser's anchor point is high above Madam Corae's head. Madam Corae will often use this attack multiple times in succession.
Double Laser: Fires two lasers that continuously deal moderate damage.		Due to the jagged hitbox of the electric lasers, it is possible for them to hit any players slightly above or below them. Madam Corae will fire at the top third, middle third, or bottom third of a side. Compared to previous phases, these lasers will linger for a longer period of time.
Omnidirectional Lasers: Assigns each player one of two types of symbols: a red mark with four arrows in each cardinal direction, or a red mark with four arrows in each intercardinal direction. After roughly 3 seconds, a beam will emit from the player, in the direction of each arrow.		Madam Corae will often use this attack pattern twice in succession. If a laser hits another player, after a few seconds, that player will receive the same mark as the one that hit them. There is no transfer limit, so this attack may continue for a long period of time.
Triple Laser: Fires three large, vertical lasers that simultaneously attack an entire side, dealing moderate damage to any players hit.		As this attack covers an entire side of Madam Corae, players are advised to use a portal to traverse to the other side of the arena.
Electric Web: Enters hyper armor state and generates a thin stream of electricity from the center of her body. These beams spread out to the edge of the map to create a web-like pattern. Additionally, Madam Corae will target all but one section with a heavy electric current.		Any players who make contact with the red electric streams will take heavy damage, as well as receive one stack of Self DebuffPermanent Damage, decreasing their Physical/Magical attack. This debuff lasts until the player dies and is resurrected via a Resurrection Stone. The portals will create a pathway to the safe section. Players should carefully travel through these portals.
Energy Ball Absorption: Begins gathering electric energy. Large red energy balls will appear on the left and right sides of the arena and gradually move towards Madam Corae. Each energy ball will heal her for roughly 6 bars of HP.		Players must intercept these energy balls by running into them. Take note that each time this happens, the player will take some damage and gain a stack of Self DebuffElectrical Stack, decreasing their movement speed and increasing the damage they receive from each additional energy ball. This debuff lasts for 10 seconds and can stack up to ?? times.
