When the buff wears off, stacks are decreased one by one. (Max of 5 stacks)

As the effect declines 1 stack at a time, the effective duration of 5 stacks is 75 seconds until you no longer have the buff at all.
The buff duration starts going down as soon as your last Special Active's animation ends. For skills that can be extended, such as M-3 Flamethrower, it will start going down as soon as you release the skill button.
