Awakening Mode is a special ability that is available to all characters except Add. While in Awakening Mode, attack power by boosted by 20% for a limited time period. Certain skills also attain unique characteristics outside the 20% increase while in this state, such as specified damage multipliers or a different number of hits.
Basic Information
Awakening Mode is a special ability that is available to all characters. While in Awakening Mode, attack power is boosted by 20% during its duration. If the character has unlocked Transcendence, their attack power will be increased by 30% instead. Certain skills also obtain unique characteristics while Awakened.

To activate Awakening, you must have at least one Awakening Orb, shown just below your character's portrait.
How to Use
With the exception of Add, Ain, Laby, Noah and Cor Guardian, each character will have a maximum of 3 awakening beads.
To activate Awakening, you must have at least one Awakening Bead, which is generated when the Awakening Charge gauge is filled. Awakening Beads can also be generated by certain consumable items or with the activation of Fever. Both of these can be viewed next to your character portrait. The charge gauge increases each time you hit an opponent or when you are hit. A maximum of 3 Awakening Beads is available for most characters. The rate at which your Awakening gauge fill up can be increased by raising your Awakening Charge Speed stat.

Once you have one or more Beads, press the left CTRL key to consume all beads and activate Awakening and receive a buff which stacks corresponding to number of beads consumed (Max. 3).
This is not applied to characters who only have one awakening bead, namely Cor Guardian, Add, Laby and Noah classes. In Ain's case, stacks will always start from 0 and increase by 1 per bead consumed while awakened.
The stacks do not provide additional stat bonuses and only certain character-specific abilities are dependent on how many times the buff is stacked unless otherwise under passives effect.

By default, the duration of Awakening is equal to 30 seconds per bead consumed. The duration can be further increased by raising your Awakening Duration Increase stat or through certain Passives. If you have awakening beads while in Awakening Mode, you can re-awaken by pressing the awakening key again.

An Awakening Orb is generated when the Awakening Charge gauge (next to your character portrait) is filled. The charge increases each time you hit an opponent or when you are attacked. A maximum of 3 Awakening Orbs are available. The rate at which your Awakening gauge fill up can be increased by raising your Awakening Charge Speed stat.
Awakening Mode can also be activated through the use of certain consumable items or picking up an Awakening Potion.

Once you have one or more Orbs, press the left CTRL key to activate Awakening. The duration of Awakening is based on the number of Orbs consumed. Duration can be further increased by raising your Awakening Time stat.
Unique Abilities
On top of the regular awakening effects, some characters will receive benefits to their exclusive systems while in Awakening Mode. These includes, for example:
*Full NF recovery and Unlimited NF on 3rd Bead Awakening for Rena
*A Nasod Core for Raven
*A Queen's Core for Eve
*Full ammunition reload and/or Berserk Mode for Chung
*Acute Senses for Mad Paradox
*Energy Discharge for Void Princess
*Reaction Gloves for Tactical Trooper

1 Awakening Orb = 30 seconds
Add
2 Awakening Orb = 60 seconds
:Main Article: Dynamo Point System
3 Awakening Orb = 90 seconds
Unlike other characters' Awakening, Adds Awakening is called Dynamo Configuration Mode, where he uses a new resource called DP instead of Awakening Beads. As long as he has at least 100 DP, by consuming 50 DP, Add can enter Dynamo Configuration Mode and receive the benefits of Awakening Mode. Unlike other characters, this mode can be maintained for as long as the player wishes, so long as they have DP.

Some characters can receive special abilities if they awaken with 3 Orbs, such as Raven's Nasod Core, Chung's Berserk Mode, Ara's Celestial Fox Mode, and Eve's Core Release.
Unlike other Characters, Adds Awakening animation does not provide Skill Freeze but will grant him invulnerability during activation and will deal damage.

Ain
:Main Article: Spiritualism
Unlike other characters' Awakening, Ain possesses notable differences in how his Awakening Mode functions. Ain can only hold one Awakening Bead at a time and when awakened, he will receive a damage boost that's higher than the standard 20% increase. Additionally, he has the ability to re-Awaken to increase his Awakening stage. He'll receive various stat boosts depending on the Awakening stage.

Laby
:Main Article: Sentimental Point System
Unlike other characters' Awakening, Laby activates her Awakening automatically, even when she's attacked. It doesn't cause any delay though, therefore she can activate Awakening Skill to deal damage, recover all Sentimental Points and debuff enemies around with Groggy.

Noah
:Main Article: Moonlight System
Noah has access to 3 types of Awakening based on the moon phase. Moon phases will alternate in a cycle, and can only be changed by casting skills. Gain various benefits based on the moon phase active when Awakening was triggered.

Customization
Your Awakening Mode animation and effects can be customized through the use of custom awakening animations. While the item used to unlock these customizations grant additional skill bonuses, they do not have any direct effect on your awakening mode, and are purely visual.

Tips and Details
*Without any stats invested to the Awakening Charge Speed stat, one Awakening Orb can be charged by performing 100 hits or being attacked with 50 hits.
*Without any stats invested in the Awakening Charge Speed stat, one Awakening Bead can be charged by performing 100 hits or being attacked with 50 hits.
*Please note that the Awakening sequence can fail in dungeons when transitioning to another stage or the moment you get effect from potions at Velder's Hallucination, meaning some characters have delay before they are Awakened (around 0.5s) so if the screen freeze before they could Awaken, you will lose your orbs without being able to Awaken at all.
*Most characters (except Laby) have a delay when awakening that freezes the screen (around 0.7 secs.), which can be used to gain an advantage in combat.
**When awakening on a Mount, there is no delay whatsoever, making it instantaneous, but you still can't move for certain duration.
*Previously, awakening just before transitioning into another area in a dungeon, would result in your beads being consumed, and awakening not activating. This was later fixed, as your awakening will activate accordingly once the next area finishes loading.
**Awakening can still be interrupted on rare occasions, either by being attacked or scripted events.
*While under an effect that would grant three Awakening Beads, one-bead characters will gain three beads worth of Awakening duration upon Awakening. Additionally, Ain's Spiritualism will automatically progress to the third stage.
*For characters whose 3rd awakening bead changes their appearance, their appearance will change at 3 stacks of awakening. Meaning you will change appearance if you re-awaken 3 times using 1 bead for example.
Trivia
*Before the 01/04/2024 (KR)/01/31/2024 (NA) Awakening revamp, the maximum Awakening duration of one-bead characters was not affected by the Awakening Duration stat and could only be increased by Passives. The only exception to this was Ain, whose Awakening duration would reset upon Re-Awakening.
*Prior to achieving transcendence, Laby is able to also stack the awakening buff. This is however only a visual bug as it does not increase stats or affect gameplay.
