== Updates Date == | |||
Hello, I'm just curious on why you removed the updates for the other characters? It's not like it's going to be spoiled 'cause the whole NA community already knows the release dates-That's where I got it from, the NA server.
*I've been searching the NA forums, website, and social media accounts and I can't find anything from the staff that says the release schedule. If you have a source for the release dates, please share it. Otherwise, this would be considered speculation on future updates, which is prohibited as per the [[Elwiki:Editing Rules|Editing Rules]]. **I think it's pretty much confirmed at this point. NA's released 4 Master Class updates already, and they've been rolled out every 2 weeks like they were in KR. On top of that, they've been doing Rapid Level Up events during the Master Class releases (one Rapid Level Up every 2 Master Class updates), and there's still one Rapid Level Up event left after the one currently going on with 2 more Master Class updates in waiting. I'll often update an image with a completely new one as it provides a clearer picture/is much higher in quality, but I find whenever I go to the page that uses the picture, it's often stuck using the previous image. How do I fix this? Currently having that problem with my profile's image but I've ran into this issue multiple times with [[12-7]] bosses, in example... would be great if I could fix this problem without having to have someone higher up do all the final touches haha - [[User:Lord Aurora|Lord Aurora]] ([[User talk:Lord Aurora|talk]]) 13:58, 16 November 2018 (GMT) | I'll often update an image with a completely new one as it provides a clearer picture/is much higher in quality, but I find whenever I go to the page that uses the picture, it's often stuck using the previous image. *Usually in these situations, the page will update the image if you submit an edit to that page. You don't need to change or add anything. You can just submit a blank edit and it'll usually update the picture. **Ahhh I thought it should've... Thanks for getting back so quick, though I've now got another issue with it (this is what usually happens infact if I'm not mistaken). Rather than the image changing, the proportions of the image have changed. It's still showing the old image on the page but just stretched out to fit the new image's proportions...<br>Sorry for all the hassel haha but yea, do I just need to give it time or is it something else? <br><br>Nevermind! Found out I just needed to clear the cache! == Radiant Flower (Black) ==
I saw NA release Radiant Flower (Black) in Treasure Hunt Event. Just want to know if it can be stored in Magic Wardrobe. -[[User:IceSoulMOG|IceSoulMOG]] ([[User talk:IceSoulMOG|talk]]) 21:15, 1 August 2019 (EDT)
*Yes, it can be stored. [[User:Rokujou|Rokujou]] ([[User talk:Rokujou|talk]]) 22:13, 1 August 2019 (EDT)

== Damage caculation ==
Hi, I'm currently looking into listing all of the Sweep Rolling's total damage for CS, and the charged portion of the skill gives +1.3% damage increase per damage instance past the 1st hit. So I was wondering if there's anyway to caculate the total dmg beside manually caculating, and adding 22 damage instances on top of eachother?
<br>P.S. And just a side note, where should I look for to learn about the editting language in Elwiki? So far I've been just barely getting by by looking, copying and guessing as I move along. Thanks in advance. - [[User:Shiiho|Shiiho]] ([[User talk:Shiiho|talk]]) 23:51, 11 October 2019 (GMT+7)
*I do not think there is a way to simplify that calculation. You'll have to write out the full expression since I'm not sure if loops can be generated here. As for help in editing, [[Wikipedia:en:Help:Wikitext|Wikipedia has a page]] that shows some of the basics of the language. I forgot to mark [[Artifact System]] as in development and KR only, so thanks for doing it for me. I'll try my best to remember in the future. [[User:FlareKyn|FlareKyn]] ([[User talk:FlareKyn|talk]]) 14:02, 25 December 2019 (EST)

== Regarding Code: Sariel's "Zero" ==
Hey friend, I saw your edit on CS's "Zero", just want to pop by and say it's not that an enemy can only be hit by 2 rays, they can be hit by multiple rays but the maximum achievable hits always add up to just the limit of 2 rays.
*Alright, I've edited it for better clarification. Let me know if I'm still misunderstanding something. [[User:Rokujou|Rokujou]] ([[User talk:Rokujou|talk]]) 10:59, 28 March 2020 (EDT)

== Thanks for the advice ==
With your advice and the info that [[User:IceSoulMOG]] gave me earlier, I managed to figure out what to do. I replaced all my uses of [[Template:SkillSlot]] with [[Template:tt]], and the post-expand went way down while still accurately showing the data I wanted. Guess that's what I get for cutting corners. == Template:~/ja ==
Hello, could you please tell me how to handle templates in Elwiki?<br>
When I tried to translate the main page into Japanese, I noticed that the template was used for the English page.<br>
Are these templates themselves allowed to be translated and used to translate the main page?<br>
<small>e.g.<nowiki>{{Template:How you can help!/ja}}</nowiki>, <nowiki>{{Template:Development/ja}}</nowiki>.</small><br>
It didn't seem to be used on the main page of other languages, so I asked a question before running it.<br>
--[[User:Ethical|Ethical]] ([[User talk:Ethical|talk]]) 15:43, 11 July 2021 (CEST)
*Similar to what you did with [[Elwiki:Editing Rules/ja]], create a new template with the "/ja" ending and add your translations to that new page. For the templates on the Main Page, like [[Template:How you can help!]], it's your choice on whether or not you want to translate and add them to the Main Page. Users working on translated pages are free to create their own designs for the Main Page/templates or they can just copy the style of the original English page. As long as page names follow the correct format, we're okay with that. [[User:Rokujou|Rokujou]] ([[User talk:Rokujou|talk]]) 16:43, 11 July 2021 (CEST)

== Small Favor? == | |||
I want to get rid of all the revisions of [[User:FlareKyn|my main user page]] and [[User:FlareKyn/Accounts|my accounts sub-page]] to free up some space for the wiki (even if it's only a small amount), and I figured the most efficient way would be to just delete the entire pages and remake them (I mean, each one has over 500 revisions individually, so it'd probably take forever to delete just the revisions). Could I ask you to delete these two pages for me? [[User:FlareKyn|FlareKyn]] ([[User talk:FlareKyn|talk]]) 13:04, 6 March 2022 (CET)

: Hey, [[User:Rokujou|Rokujou]]! Thanks for deleting that pesky page! Could you suggest me some technical things to look out for and fix on this wiki? I'd love to help out! [[User:Ainchase|Ainchase]] ([[User talk:Ainchase|talk]]) 18:02, 17 March 2022 (CET)
:*Well, [[Surya]] just released in NA. You can start with her pages and add in any info that may be missing or not translated. [[User:Rokujou|Rokujou]] ([[User talk:Rokujou|talk]]) 18:08, 17 March 2022 (CET)
:*There actually is some technical thing to do. Since we started using variables and [[Template:Damage]], it would be nice to port skills' Total Damage to that. Mainly so we could easily handle balance patches. Examples of already done pages: [[Grand Cross]], [[Drop Poising]], [[Ejection Buster]]. If you want to experiment with this, remember to compare all values with the old version before applying changes. --[[User:Ritsu|Ritsu]] ([[User talk:Ritsu|talk]]) 18:26, 17 March 2022 (CET) |
