[[Elsword]] is the titular swordsman who carries a great sword to slash and bash his enemies. He is an aspiring young knight who has trained under the guidance of his sister and knight of Velder, [[Elesis]], since he was a young age. When she had to leave home, Elsword promised her that he would train his swordsmanship and become strong for when they meet again. Ambitious and hotheaded, Elsword is always looking for a challenge, but he is good-natured at heart.
 
On another day of training in [[Ruben Forest/Elsword|Ruben]], Elsword finds a bunch of bandits blocking his way. After dealing with them, he discovers the demon [[Berthe]] taking the [[Ruben|the village's]] El Shard. With his determination to protect his hometown, Elsword resonates with the El and draws the power to fend off Berthe. As Berthe retreats, Aisha runs to Elsword's aid, but he questions this new stranger. Rena interrupts their arguing to inform them that the bandits have stolen the El. Elsword joins forces with Aisha and Rena, and they all depart on their journey together with the mission of restoring the lost El.

[[Aisha]] is a genius mage, well-versed in the art of magic. While exploring an ancient ruin with her grandfather in search of an artifact, she had the misfortune of losing most of her magical powers by the effects of said artifact, a cursed ring. A [[Hennon|mysterious hooded man]] then stole the ring away from her. Despite the loss, Aisha decided to embark on a journey to recover the ring and remaster her magic by learning about El. She is intelligent, brash, and confident in her abilities with staff in hand.
 
Aisha's search for El Shards leads her to the Tree of El in [[Ruben Forest/Aisha|Ruben]], where she meets a red haired boy struggling against a great, blue beast. She decides to lend a hand, and together, they scare off the monster. Aisha introduces herself to Elsword, but his ungrateful attitude makes her think he's quite obnoxious. They get into an argument (which will become common between them), but Rena interjects with news of the stolen El Shard. Aisha joins the two on a quest to find the lost El while she hones her magical powers.
 
Aisha specializes in overwhelming her opponents with fireballs and wide array of powerful spells in quick succession, and she can give a quick whack with her staff to fend of anyone too close to her mana-charging space.

[[Rena]] is an elven marksman able to call forth the power of nature to her aid. She bears the duty to protect the El in order to maintain the stability of the world and the ties between Elrios and the Elven plane. When the weakening El endangers the realms, Rena is tasked with investigating and restoring it. She is usually calm and collected, and she's known to act motherly to the team.
 
Rena's journey begins in [[Ruben Forest/Rena|Ruben]], where El resonates from the Tree of El. There, she overhears Banthus's plot to steal the El. She tries to stop him and his bandits, but she couldn't prevent Banthus from running away with Ruben's El Shard. Determined, Rena quickly enlists the help of the bickering Elsword and Aisha to track Banthus and the El down.
 
Rena can fire magic arrows to shoot down enemies, as well as deliver fierce kicks in close-combat. She is also capable of graceful movements and calling on nature to enhance her abilities.

Raven was once a commoner, but he worked his way up to become the proud captain of the Crow Mercenary Knights of [[Velder]]. However, his success drew the attention of jealous aristocrats. Raven was framed by those nobles and betrayed by his friend, leading him to lose his comrades and his fiancée. On the verge of death, Raven accepted a deal that a Nasod who found him had presented him: to be reborn with the power to enact his revenge on those who had took everything from him.
 
Raven was filled with fury and rage, and the control device implanted in him used his anger to take over his consciousness. He and his rebel group terrorized the Ponggo of [[Altera]] and stole the El Shard from [[Cargo Airship|Wally's Airship]] for the Nasods. Elsword and the El Search Party confronted Raven aboard [[The Black Crow|the Black Crow]] to stop his destruction and take back the El. Raven's battle with the party helped him regain his sanity and remember that he wanted to protect those he holds dear. He then joins the party to find the missing El in hopes of enforcing justice and atoning for his sins.
 
Raven wields a blade to attack with quick slashes and thrusts, while his Nasod arm is capable of heavy scratches, hard punches, and even explosive firepower. He also harnesses his rage into a weaponized core that can pierce through enemies and shield him from damage.

[[Eve]] is the ancient queen of the Nasod race and fights with her two trusty drones, Moby and Remy. After war broke out between humans and Nasods for the power of El back in ancient times, Eve had to go into [[Center of Altera Core|hibernation]], becoming the last of the ancient Nasod race. Eve awoke from her preservation capsule after an El fragment flew into it, and she learned the current state of her race. In order to revive her race, she reprogrammed her capsule to power [[Altera Core|Altera Core]] and revive the King Nasod, which were programmed to collect El energy, research the new era, and create new Nasods. Intelligent but alone, the Little Queen of the Nasods went back into hibernation to energize the Core, hoping to reawaken to the reborn Nasod race.
 
Eve awakened years later as a result of the defeat of King Nasod, who had become corrupted along with his creations and continued the ancient war against humans. The El Search Party stopped King Nasod's reign in order to take back Ruben's El, which Raven had delivered to Altera Core. With all her efforts in vain, Eve was once again alone in the present time. However, a red-haired boy offered to be her friend. Eve, with renewed hope, joins her new friend and the El Search Party to face a new demonic threat and revive her race.
 
Eve commands her drones to aid in her gliding mobility and hit enemies so she does not have to lay a hand on them. She will, however, slap someone who truly angers her.  She can also fire electron balls from a range to electrify foes. As the Nasod Queen, Eve also summons a variety of units or weaponry to deal with those who oppose her.

Elesis sensed that her encounter was a sign of imminent danger to Elrios, so she left home once more so she may keep her brother and her homeland safe from the impending demon invasion. Add's time in the ancient library had transported him from the past to present-day Elrios. He learned only a few traces of the Nasod remain in this time, but he needed to seek them out if he ever wanted to return back to his own time. With the help of [[Wally]], the lord of [[Elder]], and his research, Add [[Elder_Castle%27s_Underground_Laboratory|discovered]] information on [[Altera]] and the Nasod Queen, Eve. He embarked on his quest to track Eve down in order to learn what makes such a highly sophisticated Nasod tick. Add ends up tracking her in the company of the El Search Party at the [[Ancient Waterway]]. There, after defending Eve from a surprise attack, Add lends his genius to the El Search Party.
 
Add dominates battles with his Dynamos, giving his melee attacks extended range with their electric shocks and creating explosive attacks with large areas of effect. He will also gain the ability to close in on a target instantly with his Nasod Armor. This makes him very versatile with close and long range attacks. His Dynamos also help his air mobility.

Ciel is serious and reliable with his service; with his cooking knowledge and skills, he is often seen as like a butler.

Once preparations and the dimensional portal device were complete, Rose made the jump. The Goddess Ishmael created an existence that would act as her emissary to restore Elrios's weakening El. His name is [[Ain|Ainchase Ishamel]]. He carries a pendulum to call forth the powers bestowed upon him by the Goddess. Proud and determined, Ain strives to fulfill his mission under the name of the Goddess.
 
Ain arrived to Elrios on the day of the El Explosion, with no time to react. The explosion ripped open a tear in Time and Space, and Ain fell through the gap. With his mission seemingly failed and his energy gone, Ain begun to fade as he aimlessly traversed the chaotic dimension. He almost lost all hope, but then he sensed a faint trace of the El. He followed it, drawing strength from it as he got closer. With his sense of purpose reignited, Ain regained enough power to escape from the twisted dimension of Time and Space and re-materialize in Elrios. The source of El energy he pursued led him to [[Chaotic Forest of Ruben|Ruben]] about 500 years after the El Explosion. There he finds a red-haired boy who appears to have some resonance with the El fighting off a demon while an El Shard is stolen by a bandit. Ain introduces himself to the boy, the magician, and the elf as a priest serving the Goddess. His plan is to get along with the group so he can follow the El and complete his mission. So the mysterious Ain assists the El Search Party to restore the power of the El from the very beginning of the party's journey... right?
 
Once he unlocks his powers with his pendulum, Ain harnesses his godly abilities to project weapons like swords and daggers for close-quarters combat and fire El energy for ranged combat.
