Tips and Details
- Phoenix Talon is unlocked through the High Branch Skill Quest. The quest can be obtained at Lv32 from Camilla, the PvP NPC.
- Enemies are launched by the initial hits of the skill.
- While the buff is active, your hands glow brightly and you are followed by red afterimages as you move.
- Phoenix Talon's damage is rather low compared to other 300 MP skills, but the main purpose of the skill is the buffs, not the damage.
- Only small magical attacks are absorbed, including Rena's arrows, Elsword's and Aisha's fireballs and Eve's electronballs.
- Phoenix Talon will only absorb normal and active attacks, such as Siege, Circle Flame, etc. Specials like Chain Fireball and Chain Bust won't be absorbed.
- Elsword is vulnerable right after the Phoenix crashes on him. If he is hit during this time, the buff won't take place.
- Phoenix Talon is more of a PvP Skill; it is worthless in dungeons (excluding enemies that mainly use magic and archery, such as Chloe of 5-2).
