Background

A long time ago, after a meteor shower covered Elysion, a team of Atlas Nasod Developers persisted on studying new anti-aircraft defenses. During their time studying these defenses, they were reminded of Aero City, a floating city which housed Eltrion – who defended the skies of Elianode in its prime.

Unfortunately, Aero City has been reduced to ruins making it impossible to travel to so the group had to search for alternative solutions. But as luck would have it, the Atlas Nasod Developers realized that there was a group of combat units searching El that had successfully reached Aero City through the Chrono Gate and had battled against Eltrion.

The group studied the traces of these combat units and was eventually able to pinpoint the station's coordinates for Aero City. They forced themselves inside the Chrono Gate where they found Eltrion. These Atlas Nasod Developers began upgrading Eltrion with the latest technology, until it became Eltrion MK2.

Eltrion MK2 now guards the final gate that leads to Elysion as an anti-aircraft defender and the Elgang has been tasked to end its reign of terror.

Eltrion MK2 Nasod Treasure Chest

After completing one run against Eltrion MK2, all surviving players will receive an Eltrion MK2 Nasod Treasure Chest, containing one random item from the following list. The Chest can give a random number of Eltrion MK2's Nasod Piece, potentially yielding 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 30, 100, 300, or 500 Pieces.

Rank Rewards of the Boss Raid

After each Thursday, players will be rewarded based on the rankings of their raid score. The rankings are divided into two categories: Individual and Guild. The Individual rankings will be based on the player's raid score compared with other players of the same class as them. The Guild rankings will be based on the raid scores of all members of the player's Guild compared to other Guilds.

The raid scores will be reset if the player were to change their Job Class. In addition, the player's raid score will not be added to the Guild score unless the points were obtained while they are part of the guild.

The leaderboards will be updated every day at 6 AM. When the week is complete, the rankings will reset to zero and rewards will be sent by mail.

Trivia

  • The previous raid map that Eltrion was housed in, then called City in the Sky, has now been given the name Aero City. It was the aerial defense base protecting the ancient Nasod Capital of Elianode, that has since been laid to waste due to the Nasod War.
  • Thanks to the El Search Party ("combat units searching for El") entering the Gate of Time ("Chrono Gate") to fight the original Eltrion, the Atlas Nasod Researchers were able to relocate their lost capital and salvage Eltrion, upgrading it from its 2nd Generation Model to a 3rd Generation Model.
    • As the creators and citizens of Elysion, the Devrians, left Elrios (together with some Nasods) of their own accord, they are capable of travelling between the dimensions at will, allowing them to easily retrieve the old Eltrion from Elrios after locating it.
    • This is in stark contrast to the citizens of Elrios, who don't even know Elysion exists at all (with the exception of Glave)
