Tips and Details
- The cannonball retains the same properties from the regular version, gathers enemies up, passing through super armor, stopping at walls, lifting, and so on. Even the hit count for the cannonball and explosions is identical.
- The projectiles from Unleash Soul can pierce any number of times and will simply deal damage until their travel duration runs out.
- They prioritize new enemies upon hitting an enemy, but have no issues retargetting the same enemy if nothing else is in range, allowing it to do a very high amount of damage on a single target.
- Due to their seemingly infinite range, however, this is a bit of a penalty to the skill in large spread out rooms. It is best used when everything in the room is in one place, or on single targets.
- On average, the projectiles, when fired at an enemy that gets grabbed along the entire skill (or is near a wall) at point blank range, will hit said enemy 75 to 85 times, causing the skill to do a total average of 10,316% to 11,356% Magical Damage, or 12,379.2% to 13,627.2% Magical Damage with the Empowered skill trait.
- The projectiles will not home in on a new target until they reach their current target, but will still do damage when they pass through other enemies; as such, there's no damage loss no matter how many enemies are being hit if all enemies are close to eachother (which is likely going to be the case due the skill's own grab effect).
- They prioritize new enemies upon hitting an enemy, but have no issues retargetting the same enemy if nothing else is in range, allowing it to do a very high amount of damage on a single target.
