The MP Gain increase affects all attacks, not just physical or staff related ones.
Space Impact can also trigger on the close range melee hit of Energy Wave.
Space Impact can hit enemies extremely close to the hit target, allowing it to deal splash damage if enemies are close enough together.
Space Impact functions like any normal attack and can trigger all on-hit effects except itself.

Be aware that Space Impact actually deals Physical Damage, despite what the tooltip says. The damage is also slightly lower, at 327% for level 3 and 4, but due to Dimension Witch's high Physical Attack (especially when taking buffs and passives into account), this still makes it deal a lot more damage than if it were Magical Damage.
