Elesis is gravely wounded and loses all her fellow Red Knights when they were ambushed by demons.

악을 근절하던 중 페이타의 구원요청을 뒤늦게 접하고 돌아간 엘리시스가 마주한 것은 이미 한 차례 마족의 침공을 막아내고 잔존 병력을 소탕하려는 소수의 페이타 병사들이었다. 예감이 좋지 않았지만,
엘리시스는 페이타 병력을 끌고 다크 엘이라 불리는 물건을 회수하기 위해 신전으로 향한다.
휘하의 병사들과 함께 다크 엘을 회수하려는 순간 마족들의 공격이 시작되었고, 잠시 의식을 잃었던 엘리시스가 깨어났을 땐 자신을 제외한 병사들이 모두 쓰러져있는 처참한 광경이었다. 언제 쥔 건지 모를 검은 보석이 손에서 힘을 잃고 떨어지는 것도 눈치채지 못한 채, 엘리시스는 차오르는 분노와 복수심으로 적을 도륙하기 시작한다. 피의 복수자, 크림슨 어벤저로 다시 태어난 순간이었다.

Elesis, who wandered around, slaughtered numerous evils and carried out her own justice. But there are still many evils lurking in front of them.

While eradicating evil, Elesis, who came back after hearing Feita's request for salvation, was faced with a small number of Feita soldiers who had already stopped the demon invasion and wiped out the remaining forces. Although his premonition was not good, Elesis leads Feita's forces and heads to the temple to retrieve an object called Dark El.

The moment the demons were trying to recover Dark El together with the soldiers under her command, the demonic attacks started, and when Elesis, who had lost consciousness for a while, woke up, it was a horrific sight with all the soldiers except himself lying down. Without noticing that the black jewel, which she did not know when she was holding, loses strength and falls from her hand, Elesis begins to slaughter the enemy with her rage and revenge. It was the moment when I was reborn as a blood avenger, the Crimson Avenger.

Trivia

• Elesis' outfit was teased before her reveal in ElType Season 3 Volume 1. In the comic, just as Elesis was about to get an avatar card, Add rushed by and the cards flew. Add was then hit by an avatar card which was Crimson Avenger's.
• Elesis' facial expression changes and her eyes turn amber with black snake-eyes appearing in her irises upon advancing to Crimson Avenger.
• After advancing to Crimson Avenger, Elesis' character selection screen quote changes once again, to match her lifeless personality.
• Crimson Avenger keeps a scrap of Dark Knight's scarf that she uses to tie her hair, as seen on her in-game model and transcendence artwork. In her portrait, the scarf can be seen in her hand, and in her skill cut-in, the scarf is flung away from the sword swing.
• Whereas Immortal absorbs demonic energy in a more controlled manner through Conwell and does not suffer much if any downsides, Elesis instead inadvertently absorbs one of Feita's Dark El shards, which are normal El shards infused with high amounts of demonic energy, after being knocked out by an ambush. The large influx of demonic energy combined with the sight of her dead allies overwhelms her, causing her to become focused on revenge.
  • On the NA server's character creation description, it still claims she was herself mortally wounded and used the Dark El to heal herself, but this is the version of the background used prior to the reveal of the real Dark El. The current canon version does not specify what happened to her after the ambush, and calls explicit attention to the now-depowered El shard after Elesis absorbed the energy from it to make it clear this path is also based on demonic energy and prevent confusion with the real Dark El.
