Every character in Elsword has their own unique features that sets them apart from other characters.
Basic Information
Elsword`s Way of the Sword
When playing Elesis, there will be an additional gauge below the skill hotkeys. This Way of the Sword(Also known as WotS) gauge will enable you to activate "Knight of Gale" or "Knight of Annihilation" for a period of time.
Depending on the type of combo attack (e.g. Z and X key moves) or skill you use, the gauge will lean towards Gale or Annihilation. While in either "Knight of Gale" or "Knight of Annihilation", you will receive special benefits.
Note that the system they use is not what what it may appear to be at first; gale-based attacks take away gale from the gauge, leaning the gauge towards annihilation; annihilation-based attacks take away annihilation from the gauge, leaning the gauge towards gale; this is why only attacks that use the gauge area affected in the respective aura.

Knight of Gale
When the gauge is completely blue (by using Annihalation-type moves), the "Aura of Gale" will be unleashed in the form of an azure aura.
While in this form you will receive the following benefits:
- Increased evasion, movement and jump speed.
- Gale-based skills cost 40% less mana for both mana usage and usage requirements.
- Some special active will only cost from 100MP to 60 MP, 200MP to 140 MP, 250 MP to 175 MP, 300 MP to 200 MP
- Gale-based skills also reduce cooldown greatly by 80% of colldown time.
Knight of Annihilation
When the gauge is completely red (by using Gale-type moves), the "Spirit of Annihilation" will be unleashed in the form of a crimson aura.
- Annihilation-based combos, actives, skills will have a 100% critical rate and will ignore defensive stances, such as Iron Paladin's Guard and PvE opponents with the ability to guard. Knocked-down opponents also receive full damage.
- While Annihilation is active, if you are hit while holding down Z/X, Elesis will engage a Stoic mode where she will bounce enemies away when attacked, at cost of aura gauge instead of mana.
Trivia
- Although Elesis has her own Way of the Sword system, while in Annihilation/Destruction and Gale/Vatality modes, both Elsword and Elesis idle poses are almost similar.
- In Annihilation/Destruction Elesis can ignored Jullen shield if Elesis use Annihilation/Destruction Skills.
