Flame Lord's path video never even mentions anything about the primordial fire, just that she has the innate ability of controlling fire in general as said at the beginning of the video, which we already knew anyway. Flame Lord's backstory also makes clear that her "potential" that was dormant and was awakened is actually about her becoming the incarnation of fire, not specifically about controlling primordial flames.
