After several years had passed, Harnier was amazing at how much [[Solace|Perrihart]]'s ability to use El had improved. However, [[Siegmund]] ambushed her, aiming to take the gifted girl's El energy as his own in order to overtake [[Solace|Perrihart]] as the one in line to become the Master of the Sun. After [[Solace|Perrihard]] had learned of his brother's plan, the faced each other and in the end [[Solace|Perrihart]] killed his brother to protect Harnier. When she woke up, she was concerned for [[Solace|Perrihart]] until she noticed that [[Siegmund]] was dead. [[Solace|Perrihart]] told Harnier that his other siblings would do that same and they must leave. Planning to leave in Ishmael's Night when the arrival of the new El Lady would make a perfect distraction, Harnier agreed.
