Specialty
An Infinity Sword is able to summon numerous Conwell swords for battle. This gives him remarkably high melee combo potential compared to most characters, most likely as a compensation for his non-existent magic attack. He has a movement and damage buff with the passive skill Lightning Surge. With enough attack speed and damage, the Infinity Sword is a force to be reckoned with.

[A swordsman who utilizes demonic energy to enhance Conwells.]
Background
Background
Throughout his ordeals all over the continent as the Sheath Knight, Elsword observes how the scabbard Conwell takes in the dark El energy from the infected monsters he faces. This troubles him and leads him to consult the spirit of Conwell on how to stop the contamination—Conwell must absorb the dark El energy at first and then transfer it to Elsword.
{{Background

|NA=
The spirit counsels Elsword that this remedy will stir the gloom in his heart, unless he conquers it with might. The red-haired boy's confidence is unfazed by the challenge before him, and he lets Conwell do what must be done. In time, the dark El energy changes them both in ability, empowering Elsword—now known as the Infinity Sword—to multiply the scabbard and call on an unlimited number of swords for battle.
A swordsman who uses demonic energy to become even more powerful.

As he battles more demons, Elsword learns that he can use demonic energy to make his Conwell more destructive.

Though it may have side effects bringing his dark side forth, he can accept it as long as he becomes stronger.

With his strong will, Elsword enhances Conwell and manages to handle it more effectively.

Conwell was useful in battle, but the destructive power of it wasn't as strong as he hoped it to be. Elsword, researching ways to enhance Conwell, came to a realization that Conwell stained black whenever he fought with Feita's demons.
Elsword, trying to find out why it did that, figured out that the Conwell's changes were because of the demonic power that the Demons used. Allegro warned Elsword that while it had strong power, it could make the user turn evil, but Elsword's eyes only lit up at that, accepting the challenge.

"Good power, evil power... do I really have to care about such things to get stronger?"

The sword follows the willpower of the swordsman. It doesn't matter if it's the El or the demonic power. He'd accept anything that came his way, if he could just get stronger.
Elsword made up his mind. With his own will, he injected demonic powers to Conwell, and Conwell gained new power.
With Conwell, shining in perfect black, Elsword is reborn as an "Infinity Sword" with the power to control the now stronger Conwell.

Trivia
Trivia
*A common misconception is that Infinity Sword is corrupted due to absorbing the Dark El, however he still retains most of his personality.
*Due to Conwell absorbing the majority of the demonic energy, Elsword himself still retains most of his personality, though he does become rougher and more aggressive as a result of some of the demonic energy leaking into him.
*According to the official manhwa, "Blade Works", Elsword absorbed the Dark El, which caused the side of his hair to turn black.
**Before the "Early Region Progression Revamp", Conwell enhanced itself with the rather unspecified 'power of Dark El' rather than demonic energy. This change was likely made to prevent confusion with the real Dark El, a separate object entirely from Feita's Dark El, which are just demonic energy-infused El shards.
*Upon advancing to Infinity Sword, Elsword's eyes in-game change to a sharper expression.
**According to the official manhwa, "Blade Works", Elsword's body was affected after using the Dark El, causing the side of his hair to turn black.
*Infinity Sword is the first character able to inflict bleed passively, followed by Crimson Avenger.
*Upon advancing to Infinity Sword, Elsword's eyes in-game change to a sharper expression along with him now bearing a smile.
*Conwell swings don't get their color outline changed upon Awakening, thus remaining blue.
**Additionally, they will become a slightly darker red with a bit of orange at the bottom, and his pupils will become a solid black.

*Most of Infinity Swords artworks tend to depict his hair incorrectly. While in-game, his hair covers the left side of his face, all artworks except for his Item Mall Custom Skill Cut-in depict his hair mirrored.
**In Infinity Swords concept art, it is shown that his hair was originally meant to cover the right side of his face.
**In the older images for his additional combos and his original trailer, his hair is also shown mirrored, suggesting the change to his hair was made very late in development.
**The icon for his promotional hair also depicts it mirrored.
*Infinity Swords promotional greatsword is similar in design to Rune Slayer's Luna Blade.
