As Ain travels Elrios with the El Search Party, he meets many new beings and encounters many new situations. He feels uneasy about the El with all the unexpected situations, and that uncertainty starts to provoke the inner trace he received from the fissure of time and space.
When Hoffman sent Ain on a quest into the Shadow Forest, Ain immediately fell prey to the demonic energy that emanated around him. His emotions evolved into fear and fury and a storm of violent emotion takes hold. Ain begins to panic when he sees this manifestation of dark energy swarming around him but regains composure when he hears the El Search Party’s call. Together with the El Gang, Ain tried using an El-powered Nasod machine to sedate the dark energy but it only got stronger. His last resort is to seek help from the Goddess Ishmael but when she does not respond, Ain falls into deep despair and his dark emotions feed the Seed of Chaos. The power of the Goddess starts to become corrupted, and his body, which exists solely for the mission, breaks down. Ain is now wrought with doubt. And from his doubt a new form emerges.

With the chaotic energy swarming around him, Ain begins to panic, but regains his composure when he hears the El Search Party's call.  
 
Unable to explain what had happened, he fears that what has transpired in the Shadow Forest will hinder his mission and he tries to find a way to force the chaos within to sleep. With help from his human companions, Ain tried using an El powered Nasod machine to sedate the dark energy, but the ravenous, uncontrollable chaos within only grew in power.
 
With the chaos now seeping into his very soul and pushing him to the brink of insanity, Ain screams out to the Goddess… but receives no reply. With no help from the Goddess, Ain falls into deep despair which in turn feeds the seed of chaos; forcing the chaos within to materialize before him.
 
Ain falls prey. The power given to him by the Goddess starts to corrupt, and his body, which existed solely for this mission, becomes twisted to broken.
 
In this inescapable nightmare that plagues him, Ain is wrought with questions about his existence and the mission.
