검술과 마법을 혼용해서 사용하는 특별한 검사. 타고난 마법적 재능과 그것을 다룰 줄 아는 능력이 필요하기 때문에 매직 나이트로 불리는 사람은 매우 드물다. 이들은 마력을 검의 이미지로 형상화 하여 소환하는 형식의 마법을 구사한다. 검과 마법의 조화는 검사나 마법사의 전투력 보다 상회하는 효과를 가져오기도 한다.

동료들과 함께한 여러 전투에서 전투 보조의 위력을 실감한 엘소드는 보다 자유로운 전술을 위해 전투를 보조할 힘을 고민한다.<br>
그러던 중 우연한 기회로 자신에게 마법 재능이 있다는 사실을 알게 된 엘소드.<br>
줄곧 검술만 좇았던 삶이었다. 가족들과는 다른 길에 대한 두려움이 없는 것은 아니었으나, 이 재능을 활용한다면 지금보다 훨씬 자유로운 전술이 가능할지도 모른다.<br>
자신의 재능을 십분 활용하기로 결심한 엘소드는 아이샤로부터 마법을 배우게 되고, 마침내 불마법의 제어는 물론, 마력을 검의 이미지로 형상화하여 소환하는데 성공한다.
