A gas leak caught the group off guard. Eve sends Moby and Remy to investigate the gas, however a curious Laby, Lu, and Ara recklessly ingest some of the gas. The group are suddenly ambushed by A.M.P.S robots. Zero notes the machine's being fairly basic. Elsword wondered if they were some type of Nasod, Eve taking offense to the claim, though she is surprised such machines would be functional. Making it to the end of the tunnel, Eve's scans reveal that what lied beyond was just more sea. The entire group were more confused but then the door in front of them began to move on its own, revealing itself to be a A.M.P.S type robot itself. Once the group managed to defeat the robot, Eve detected a new life form approaching. Winster found the group and was surprised to see humans from Elrios in the tunnel. Ara as wary of the demon for his part animal appearance, suspecting he potentially be allied with Nero and Ran. Laby notes that Calonne had a similar look which surprised Winster, he then denies any relation to Ran and introduces himself as the tunnel's administrator. Lu asks Winster the purpose of the tunnel, in no position to oppose, Winster tells them the history of his people and how they were persecuted and took refuge in the region, as well as their plans to rebel and reclaim their land. Ciel wonders if the demon from Winster's story was the Demon King, but Lu suspects another.
