So although I understand where this is coming from, I don't think it's a mistake. I mean KoG developers themselves have said that Ara crossed paths with the el search party before, there was even a trivia that noted this claim. So even though nothing suggests Ara ever appearing before Hamel, I can't help but think that this was done on purpose. After all, until add was released, no other character had appeared in the main story prior to joining before. I feel like the cgi is more of a "oh hey did ya know that ara was there too lol" kind of deal and doesn't really have any relevance to the story other than that. Kinda like how it is never mentioned in dialogue that raven and elesis met before, or how luciel and raven met.
