*A crusader is a christian chevalier but a chevalier is not necessarily a crusader. But I agree with what has been said upwards, Innocent’s title has to be understood with having in mind crusades.<br>Is a chevalier really noble? I don’t think so. Apart from the adoubement ceremony (what English calls accolade) and the feudalism system. **to that point, present day catholocism (and history in general) frowns upon the crusade era as a dark time of human ignorance (it's not called the dark ages for nothing) so only somone with a poor understanding or incredible bias would say that being a chevalier (at least in the context of lu/ciels job path) is noble.
