Based on this video, it looks like Noah had a completely different outfit when he woke up in the temple in the first loop than when he woke up in the second loop. As far as I can tell, this seems to suggest that starting a new time loop overwrites not just his mind, but his physical body as well.

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

Wait, my mistake. I found the full story video and saw that he wasn't wearing the base job outfit in the second loop at the end.

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

And now Liberator's Story Video is showing him waking up with his class' current outfit instead of the one from his prerelease videos...

Shironsaki (talkcontribs)

Theres actually no way to prove that physical body changes as his base, 1st, 2nd are all age 15, which could either mean ur theory about overwriting his physical body is correct or he regress to the base age after each loop. As for the clothes is just an oversight because prerelease had no job paths

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

An oversight? Maybe, but I doubt it's because he didn't have his paths at the time. The prerelease video showed him wearing his base job outfit during the first loop and ends at the beginning of the second loop, which is where his in-game story begins. As the backstories of all his 1st Jobs so far mention the fact that he's time looping in one way or another, they all occur partway into the second loop at the earliest.

Well, since Liberator's video is more recent and shows him with his current class' outfit when he wakes up (and even shows a sealed version of Second Revenger's sickle), I think it's more likely that his body is canonically being overwritten when he time loops. But at the same time, I kind of want to wait for his 4th Path's release to see if it offers any definitive proof of this being the case.

Edit: Okay, right after posting this, I remembered that the Nyx Pieta path had Clamor dying at the end of the second loop and not coming back in the third loop, and since Clamor also experiences the time loops due to resonating with Noah's power, this probably could be evidence that the time loops do have some kind of physical effect on the people experiencing them.

Shironsaki (talkcontribs)

I think his physical body regress back to the save point. If you compare the backstory of liberator and nyx, nyx died a few more times but is still 16 by the time he reach elrainode. If his body ages while going back in time, he would be older i think.

For the clothes i think is because of the pendant, since that is the thing that time travels. Maybe it pulls back to whatever he is wearing with the pendant. not too sure about clamor tho

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

Huh, I never caught that about Nyx.

Maybe. But at the same time, we don't know how long each of Nyx's time loops were. For all we know, each loop for Nyx could've only been a few days, while Liberator and Celestia had longer loops. There's no real way to tell.

I guess we'll need to wait for his 4th Path to release after all.

Another thing that abit wonky is if his physical body go back in time, what about the mortal wounds? Do they magically get healed? Thats why the logical concept for me personally is whatever living being the pendant is holding on to regress back to save point while any non living thing/material get pulled back. That would also explain clamor as its techincally a living weapon and not a living being.

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

Maybe, but that doesn't explain why Clamor got resealed in the third loop... though then again, neither does my idea of his body being overwritten.

That being said, I didn't exactly say that he literally time travels physically (though I will confess that was along the lines of what I was thinking), so hypothetically, if my idea of his body being overwritten is correct, maybe instead of literally pulling his dying body into the past, the pendent merely "copies" his body (like data) as he's dying and changes his body in the past to match.

Shironsaki (talkcontribs)

Clamor body proberly retains the appearance as its the in-animated part. I think his living soul is affected similar to my theory of noah physical body, regressing to the save point. Overall time travel is confusing unless there is an official statement about this.

FlareKyn (talkcontribs)

Okay, now that Celestia's path video is out, I am even more convinced that there's more than just his outfit/sickle being sent back in time, 'cause Second Selection still has his half-black hair when he meets Yuria in the third loop!
