	[Special Active: Bravery] Receive Lu's demonic energy and modify your body. Due to the overflowing demonic energy, lose consciousness and go insane. During your Manic Demon Form, gain Self BuffSuper Armor. Basic commands and skill will be changed and existing commands, skills, and mana break will not be available. Skill MP Cost decrease during Manic Demon Form depending on the Combination Gauge used.
	Manic Demon Form Self BuffSuper Armor State ZZZZ and XXX(Hold) commands added. Shadow Fury: Pierce through those in front and burn MP. Shrewd Cutter: Wide-area tracking attack. Brutal Rush: Frontal Charge Attack and Defense decrease debuff. Silent Rage: Broad range damage and Enemy Debuffsilencing, Enemy Debuffstun debuff granted. Genocide Cross: Frontal wide-range attack. Restore 1 Combination Gauge for every 6 seconds of the remaining duration when cancelled. Duration: 30 seconds (9 seconds in PvP)

Tips and Details

Manic Demon Skills are all considered to be separate skills from Transcendence.
- Because of this, effects that boost Transcendence's damage will not boost the damage of these five skills.
As you cannot use any other skills or attacks while in Manic Demon Form, it is best to use certain buff skills before activating Transcendence.
While the combo does a lot of damage, it takes an extremely long time (10 seconds if completed) to deal said damage, making it quite bad for your overall damage output.
- can be looped quite easily as the second has short recovery frames. Due to the range and damage of the first two slashes, this is suggested over doing the complete combo.
Awakening while in Manic Demon Form when a loading screen appears will cause the awakening to be canceled.
- In the same way, if a room transition interrupts Ciel mid-transformation, your Combination Gauge will be used and the transformation will not happen.
  - Strangely, if the Manic Demon Form cancel sequence is interrupted, your Combination Gauge will still be safely refunded and its attack will be stored and automatically used shortly afterwards.
You can technically bring up your secondary skill slots during Manic Demon Form, even though visually they won't show up.
- However, you'll be unable to use Manic Demon skills or the skills equipped to those slots.
If the Transcendence Buff activates while you are in Manic Demon form, the cooldown of all Manic Demon form skills will be reduced instead of just the one (that would be) in the Transcendence skill slot (Default F).

Trivia

Ciel's voice becomes noticeably more destructive and mad while in Manic Demon Form.
Ciel's Manic Demon Form is the direct result of the contract with Lu feeding too much demonic power into him too quickly, as opposed to Dreadlord who has learned to deal with those powers over time.
Ciel completely abandons his projectile attacks in Manic Demon Form, using his gunblades only as swords.
Ciel's body turns completely dark while in Manic Demon Form, with little more remaining than his eyes, now completely engulfed in an eerie blue glow, signifying his complete descent into darkness.
The Korean tooltip mentions that Ciel is transformed into an Asmodian demon by the demonic energy passed over from Diabla, implying Lu to be of Asmodian origin. This could be be a reference to KOG's earlier game, Grand Chase, and the demon character Dio, who himself was an Asmodian demon.
