== Upgrading Equipment  ==
In Elsword, equipment can be enhanced to increase their base stats. Most equipment will start without upgrades at enhancement level +0. However, some equipment found in dungeons or boxes can be enhanced at a random enhancement level, up to +9.

In Elsword, Weapons and Armor (Top, Bottom, Shoes and Gloves) can be upgraded. By default they start without upgrades, however, some loot may already be upgraded up to +9. As you upgrade equipment, they become +1, +2, +3, "safely" up to +10.

To upgrade equipment, you need to talk to any blacksmith NPC (indicated by the sword icon in town). You will need corresponding upgrade stones and some money in order to upgrade.

== Enhancing Equipment ==
Equipment can be enhanced by a character with the Blacksmith profession or by a blacksmith NPC. Enhancing equipment will require ED and certain items, depending on the type of enhancement being performed.
