Elsword, continuing his knight training in the area of Ruben, discovers the blue demon Berthe trying to take away the El Shard, an important treasure of Ruben Village and a gem of great power that sustains the life in the surrounding area. Elsword unleashes his anger and manages to force Berthe to retreat, with the help of Aisha who happened upon the battle. Meanwhile, Rena overhears a group of bandits planning to steal the El Shard for themselves. She engages the leader, Banthus, and forces him to flee. Berthe had threw away the El Shard in his escape, and it ends up landing right in front of Banthus. With the prize in his possession, Banthus runs off with El Shard with a taunting laugh. Rena, Elsword, and Aisha decide to work together to retrieve the lost El from Banthus and the bandits, thus forming the El Search Party. The group follows the bandits through the forests of Ruben and obtains a map that indicates the bandits heading to the village of Elder.
In the Elder region, the party finds Banthus, but he no longer has the El Shard. The search party learns that Banthus has been working for Wally, the lord of the Elder village, who is planning to use the El Shard for his own selfish ambitions. So the group enter Wally's Castle to confront Wally himself and take back the El. There, the party finds Wally and learns of his secret production of Nasod, an ancient robotic race, to do his bidding. The party battles against one of his strongest Nasod, Wally No. 8. After the team defeats the tin can of a robot, Wally stares down at the angry search party as he makes his escape with the El Shard, flying away on his Wally No. 9.
The team follows Wally to Bethma Village, where they find a clue of his presence. Unfortunately, Stella, the head of Bethma village, cannot help the party much in its search as she faces her own problems dealing with the increasing conflict with the Lizardmen of the region. Stella then enlists the help of the El Search Party to stop the violent Lizardmen and discover the reason for the sudden disruption in their peace agreement. (To be continued...)
