When Denif returned, the group told him and the priestesses everything they had been hypothesizing about. Believing that the El's power may be to interfere with traveling between worlds. Ventus saying that the goddess may have created the El in order to stop the Demon Realm from crossing over. The El Search Party requested to search under the tower for something they could use a gateway, Ventus telling Denif that nobody had never really searched below the El. After Chung revealed that they had briefly been under the El when Ara fell in, Ventus tells Denif that they had found something that appeared to be a seal. Realizing the possibility the group went down below the El.

Inside the Labyrinth of Ruin, Ventus couldn't really believe that this place had been under them this whole time, that they probably would've never found it if it wasn't for Ara. Ara felt bad for her clumsiness, but Ventus tells her that he wasn't trying to reprimand her or anything. When they all reached the seal, Denif told the group that they won't, and shouldn't break the seal, but with their combined energy, may be able to pry it open just large enough to let the El Search Party slip through. Ventus warns the group that they may no be able to return. Denif, Ventus, and the others were able to make a small opening in the seal, just large enough for the El Search Party to enter before the gateway closed behind them.

Ventus with Rosso in tow goes back the way he came, into the Cave of Death and through the Labyrinth of Ruin, the way back however turned to be more cumbersome than before, with the monsters beginning to act more aggressively. Ventus manages to stave off the beings of chaos and they successfully make it to the other side of the labyrinth. Denif senses Ventus's approach and with the aid of the priestesses and Gaia, opens the seal beneath the Large El. Upon arriving, he greets the newly arrived Gaia and briefly reports to Denif, noting that the Henir realm between has become more hectic on the way back, Denif worries for the El Search Party when they decide to return as well. Ventus returns the concern but then turns around to suggest they celebrate the return of the El Masters who were present after the El Explosion.

The festivities were cut short when Rosso and Ignia begin to argue with each other. Ventus initially tried to calm the Fire Master to no success, eventually it comes to Denif to orders Gaia to restrain Rosso. With the heated Fire Master taken away to get his wounds tended to, Laby remarks about Rosso's personality being like that of fire. Ventus affirmed the sentiment but also expresses surprise on Ignia's part. He notices Ignia had become down after the argument and tells her that she had done great to butt heads with the Fire Master, telling her that the best way to confront Rosso is with brutal honesty, that doing so catches him off guard. Ignia wonders if the first Fire Priestess was also like that, in which Ventus tells her that the first Fire Priestess actually went about ignoring Rosso entirely unless it was important. Ignia once again wonders if she had done something wrong, but even Denif assures her she did the best she could've.
