Elsword, is an ambitious but hot headed young swordsman, trained by the leader of the Red Knights, his sister Elsa. Elsa left her little brother to lead a mission, never to return. Elsword now searches the land for two things; El, the precious gems that power his kingdom, and his missing sister.

The "Way of the Sword" ability enables him to utilize the energy gained through attacks and skills into 2 types of auras: Aura of Vitality and Aura of Destruction. Aura of Vitality helps Elsword to recover mana faster by 200% (150% in PvP) through certain commands and allows Elsword to use skills labeled as "Vitality skills" at a lower MP cost, allowing Elsword to make the most out of his MP pool. Aura of Destruction helps Elsword to do more damage by increasing the damage of his heavy attacks and skills labeled as "Destruction skills" by 100% and 50%, respectively.

Elsword trained hard from a young age to be strong like his sister, learning his sword techniques from a knight of Velder.


Pretty crappy at combos(in the beginning), the character also knocks down enemies down a lot too, mostly not a team player(until you know how to use him well).  
He began his adventure when he received a mission to restore the El as a member of the El Search Party.

He's a hot-blooded boy, and he's passionate about anything he does, to the point that he sometimes seems simply ignorant.

He is to freely use a huge two-handed sword with either one hand or two hands, and is unmatched in swordsmanship. He has been trained by a teacher from the Velder royal family and has systematic and balanced combat skills.


#When you learn that. gaining MP is much faster, making you one of the faster mp gainers for first job
He has a strong self-esteem and cannot afford to lose.


*Being short, believe it or not, being short is very good, there are some bosses that will lose around 1/3 of their move set because they just can't hit you with it, though that is still only viable for maybe 4 bosses.
Elsword's older sister, [[Elesis]], was the first leader of the Velder Kingdom "Red Knights".
*Has two skills for super armor mobs and when bosses gain limited superarmor, great 3rd Magic Skill, actually better than his later jobs' third skill.

Elsword has admired his older sister since his childhood and trained hard to become as strong as his older sister.


*No range moves, meaning you're going to get hit a lot later on(until you know how to dodge), also really bad against super armor mobs(unless you have something like flame geyser and you have enough MP).
