November 2nd, 2014 | Posted by 2nafishisgood in Lore

Beginning
-Elrios was a dead land where living things could hardly survive

-El came down from the sky and struck Elrios. Elrios becomes habitable because of the life energy that El radiates.

-Civilization develop to become very advanced in Elrios

Nasod vs Humans war

– Human’s technological advancements give rise to the Nasod race
– Greedy consumption of resources(El Energy) by both humans and the Nasods leads to El Energy decreasing.
– Limited resources lead to war between Humans and Nasods
– Humans win the War. Eve and other surviving Nasods go into deep hibernation.

– Despite humans winning the war, El’s energy continues to decrease.
– Much of their technology is lost due to effects of war damage and decreasing El’s energy

Decreasing El Energy

– After the war, Nasod researches are forbidden. Since there are no more Nasods, there are shortage of workers. Some practices like slavery is introduced.
– Add’s family is caught researching Nasods and are killed. Add is sold as a slave.

– While escaping, Add is trapped in the Ancient Nasod library

– As El’s energy continues to decrease, so does the human civilization.

2nd Lady of El and 6 El Masters

-Surviving people choose Lady of El 2.0 to govern the power of El. They also choose 6 El Masters to help Lady of El.
-But on one Harmony Festival day, El Master Solace kidnaps(?) the Lady of El. Solace and the Lady of El disappear.

-Because Lady of El disappeared during the Harmony Festival, El became unstable and exploded into innumerable pieces and scattered all over the continent.

-Elrios continent was divided into two by shock of the explosion and the people scattered to little habitable areas supported by the El Shards.
-Eve awakens because of the El explosion. To rebuild the Nasod Race, Eve builds the Core and goes back into hibernation using herself as the Core’s power source.

-Remaining 5 El Masters find the largest El Shards they could find and pours all their power into the shards.
-Power of these 5 special El shards created by the El masters is very strong. A lot of people gathered and lived around it. Nations are formed around these 5 shards. (Velder, Senace, Xin etc…)

I liked this, very nice simple timeline

Aisha and Elsword meeting Berthe WAS in the game actually…in the old tutorial that is.

      • Endgame says:

But they pretty much retconned it and Ruben’s mysterious second El out of existence.

And since the post-Field update tutorials and none of the Story Quests acknowledge Berthe being in Ruben….. they pretty much retconned the very reason why Elbrat, Aisha, and Rena met in the first place.

So just how the hell DID they meet now?…..

Another plothole created by newer updates: The Bethma ending cutscene has Raven magically having the El Wally had without even getting onto Wally’s ship, then his ship blasts Wally’s ship out of the air. Leaving the question as to how the hell Elbrat, Aisha, and Rena even got onto Raven’s ship. (The old version at least implied that they jumped off of Wally’s ship and onto Raven’s when he showed up to grab the El from Wally’s hands.)

But…The Elf?XD As I can see they are involve just at the end…so random thing!XD
Why they create the Elf race if they dont do anything about the war and the world stuff?!XD
I cant see the point really.

    (Poor Rena…)

    • L says:

Elf race is there to introduce the plot. The “plot”.

      • Auna says:

As i say…RANDOM. Why they hate so much Rena!?XD

        • L says:

Cuz Elves bring in “plot” and fantasy-like feel to the game. Girl with magic and purple hair can be easily passed off as a Magical Girl and have an entirely different feel to the game. Imagine if there was no Rena to the start of the game? If we just had Aisha first, it would feel like playing Pretty Cure with the Elsword as the romantic interest. That would not turn out well. This would’ve been very bad if DW was the job change introduced. Rena makes the story feel serious even though it isn’t that developed. Something about her being Elf kind of puts it off as being serious, but it really isn’t serious. Like in anime for instance. I was hoping the Elves get to play a role in the game, but it seems like we won’t be getting that for awhile.

I think the real reason is because of fetishes and the game characters are supposed to cater to different tastes in order to get people to buy more stuff. This way, Elsword becomes a cash cow that fuels their developers so they can make some other games. Like that racing game.
