so she recovered the ring and can freely change job as she pleases… she is just as overpowered as elesis

  • Malle says:

I recall saying that Aisha will end up mentoring Add in space time configurations/traveling. There was a person who commented and who I was talking rubbish. Yet, here she just appeared and hasn’t begun to mentor him but let me just say, it’s going to happen. Then I want my apology.

Something I noticed in this chapter… When they distance themselves from Aisha, they are able to relax somewhat, even though they still have their troubling thoughts. When she is around however, not only does everyone get clouded thoughts and fall more into depression, but everything seems to go according to her plans.

It’s still not clear why Elesis would let Aisha have her way like this. Considering her sadistic tendencies up to this point however, it’s almost like she knows something about her. As if leaving the party to her mercy was a more cruel fate than death.

This whole situation reminds me of one of the Trials of Odysseus in the Odyssey. The one with the Witch on the island who lulls sailors into a false sense of security and then turns them into animals. Could Aisha be a sinister being like that in this timeline?

And why does Aisha refer to herself as not just Aisha, but as though she is a specific Aisha? She seems to know a lot more than she is letting on about. She knew everyone’s names without asking. Does she have knowledge of different timelines?

Overall, Aisha is still very suspicious.

being that she possesses her full magic capabilities together with her knowledge of the grand magic unification theory, the power of the moonstone to distort time and space, and demonic magic… well it is not beyond imagination that she could very well travel through timelines just as add does; still I feel like she is the spawn of devil but it’s beginning to grow a bit on me

    • Dimir says:

Your point of view is definitely interesting and it’s good that you point it out. Now that you say it, it is especially noticeable when Ara returned to being depressive when having dinner with everyone in spite of having a better whim when she was at the ocean. It’s also unusual for Eve and Rena…however, Eun seems to be more or less unaffected.

  • Dimir says:

If Aisha is really evil, I’ll be so heartbroken…well, it’s a different timeline and all, but still…I don’t want her to be purely evil and then get slain and forgotten like Karis.

Off-topic: Freiya is the Rose class that will be released next week.

    • Dimir says:

And with “evil”, I don’t merely mean being on the demon’s side but having a personality similar to what Anon described above. I mean, I like Elesis too, but I’m fine with her being on D’s side, although I’d find it better if she ended up joining the party after this.

  • Shadow S.R. says:

Might be strange to hope that but I want every member to “evolve” to Second Job.
Like this, they won’t have to feel that way anymore.

  • Unknown says:

Aisha really wasn’t kidding when she said she was a Genius Magician and the Strongest Magician before the Unknown Ring sucked up all her power. Now that’s she got all her power back, she can even do something so cheat like switching from all 3 of her jobs and also using skills of other job while she’s in a different job as well. But before that, all of her Great Magic Power was from when she’s still a Base, then when she learned all the Magics of EM + VP + DW and now + Her Original Base job before her magic got suck out as well, then how much more OP has she become now???
From this chapter and how Aisha act, I’m guessing something like: This Aisha came from Another Dimension World/Timeline where she was with all of the El Search Party members like in the game. But because something happen in the end(possibly something that will associate with the game ending if we ever reach it), the ESP disbanded for whatever reasons they were. Then this Aisha came to this World/Timeline of the novel and changed something in the beginning which then made the Aisha that should have appeared with them not show up at all(and because of all the time related stuffs which I don’t know. That’s why they don’t remember her and also why in this chapter Aisha thought that they remembered her when she jolted a bit of their old memories back or something) And possibly the reason this Aisha came now is to do something for the ESP to not reach the same ending like in her old World/Timeline. Well, this’s just my guesses.
Though still wondering about how did DK transform into CrA so easily? Leftover Time/Space Magic from either Aisha when she 1st met her in this World/Timeline or Demon Magic with/without the Dark El or something? And will the rest of the characters(Eve, Ara, Elsword, Add) will ever change to 2nd Job? Also wonder if Chung will be part of this novel or not?

  • Person says:

So the way I see it. Aisha is hinting that she knows the El search party on a personal level. So that would mean that before this happened, something else happened that ended up separated everyone. I’m just not convinced with the “we had different goals”, it really sounds like the search party somehow got pulled into an alternate universe with certain members degrading to base/1st class. Elesis probably remembers, along with obviously Aisha, and being as Aisha is the only one to retain the memories, Elesis is more confrontational with her. Either way, it’s a fact that Aisha knew the party on a personal level, so it has to be a fact that they lost memories as well. There’s also a possibility that Aisha traveled to this dimension soo

    • Anon says:

Something else I have been thinking of while waiting for the next chapter to come out: Aisha seems to have been directly interested in Add in particular among the search party. Her goal seems to have been to manipulate him into having that last conversation with her so that she could strike a deal with him into becoming her pawn.

Why she would be interested in Add in particular isn’t clear. It could be that she took notice of his technology and thought it would be useful combined with her magic, or it could be that she noticed that he seems to know that some things will happen before they do while spying on the party. More likely however, due to her own implications that she might know of other timelines, it’s possible that she is entirely aware of his timeline hopping and wants to either keep this under control, learn more about it, or use it to her own advantage for some reason.

Either way, I feel like Aisha is tugging at the strings of fate here. Playing god. She might have been the one who manipulated Elesis into joining the demons to begin with, either for some sinister reason or just to see what happens. Now that she has finished with Elesis, she is moving on to her next pawn which is Add. That’s just my thoughts and theory however, I might be off by a long shot.

Overall though, I think that it’s going to be Elboy who is the ultimate hero of this series. It’s been hinted at since the beginning. Even though we are experiencing this from the perspective of Add. Back in Ruben and Elder there were a lot of scenes in which they talked about his potential and had him being very heroic, and even recently he has been achieving feats such as defeating Dark Knight. He’s still emotionally unstable and has more maturing to do even though he has grown, but ultimately he is going to be the main protagonist, with Add being a more neutral or possibly even antagonistic character by the end.
