2nd Developer-User PvE talk meet results

(All of these are taken from review posts of player representatives that attended the meeting. Prone to misinterpretation or change of plans from the developers)

New Director:

-DongShin Lee

-Used to be in foreign Elsword services. Returned recently.

-Was here since Eve/Chung release. Was in charge of planning for Eve.

Level Cap and upcoming updates:

-* Level cap to 99 on 6/16(Thurs)

-*Epic quests go up to level 90. Have to level up with secret dungeons(or other stuff) for the rest.

-*Elysion town and two dungeons added.

-*Level 99 will be the final level cap

-*Elsword’s story(Epic Quests) ends in Elysion. No more stories beyond that.

-Little bits of side stories will continue to be released through ‘story quests’ after the main story ends.

-Maximum item levels will be up to level 90 (Henir, Hero)

-If they decide they need more contents after, they will add higher level items.

-Possible new skills(Unclear, avoided answering)

 

Hero Dungeons:

-Planned for revamp. New mode.

-Will require level 90+ to enter

-level 90 Hero dungeon gears with the revamp

-Will make guardian(elite) items drop materials when dismantled during revamp.

Ereda Island:

-*Has been revamped couple times but current Ereda is still not in the direction they want.

-*They think that current Ereda format should be removed.

-*Thinking of replacing it with a side-scroll MOBA format

-If that doesn’t work well as well. Extreme measures(delete).

Henir’s Time and Space

-Planned to be revamped July~August

-*They think that rankings being decided by a single run is not good. (Ex: Take rank 1 right before Henir rankings reset)

-*No plans to narrow rankings down to classes only. But considering character based rankings

-*They feel like there’s too less challenge in challenge mode. Enhanced challenge mode experience planned.

Raid updates:

-No such thing for a while.

-Raids until was just damage dealing competition with buffs. This isn’t the direction they want.

-Trying to make it a content requiring cooperation. Will take time.

-No plans for Raid weapon upgrades(thinking about it)

-New raids might not have rankings

Field:

-Asked if they are aware about current state of fields. Answered, ‘Ah….yes…it’s a failure.”

-Continued talking about this and asked about possible changes to the fields. Answered after July,August updates they plan to do a complete revamp on normal dungeons(like organizing order of  dungeons) and field changes is included in this revamp. No immediate plans to change it.

Gate of Darkness:

-Same answer as fields, could be included in normal dungeons revamps.

Secret Dungeons:

-Will stay how they are right now.

Mounts:

-*Purpose of mounts is fast movement. Revamping delays during mounting and dismounting.

-*Will continue to be unavailable in high end contents

-*Thinking about making skill usage consume stamina instead.

Mentor System:

-This was for getting stamina potions during the days when it was hard to get stamina potions. Talk about how this is useless now.

Dual Magic Stones:

-Talked about how it was too useless. No plan to change new effects but said look forward to upcoming contents regarding this.

Host:

-Host isn’t set from the start and continues to change during gameplay. Off sync happens during the process when host changes.

Lack of in-game explanation on character systems and tooltip details:

-Answer: Development environment at the time decided where was no problem with reaching level cap without knowing how way of the sword works. Gradually changing these things. Amount of increased fixes and changes each patch is because of this.

Less frequent patches:

-This is for the sake of patch qualities and less bugs. It’s not because game is closing soon. No need to worry about game closing soon.

Separate PvP/PvE tooltips:

-Nope. But will try to adjust in a way where they influence each other less.

Balance Patch on the 30th:

-It’s a small scale patch. There will be frequent balance patches from now but they will be small scale.

Harmony Fest:

-No immediate plans. Someone asked can we please have Harmony fest and they answered do you want it? Maybe soon?

Next 3rd Talkmeet:

-Will include 1,2 talkmeet reps + additional players.

-Will focus on feedbacks on details from 1st and 2nd talkmeets.

    RIP anyone besides KR that doesn’t get free +8-+9 amulets and don’t have to rely on Ereda for them.

    This would fix tons of issues because nerfing skills in PvE makes skills in PvP garbage and vice versa
    same with buffing, but you know, lets not separate them.

    20-40 minute solos with +12s wasn’t challenging enough, prepare to experience hero mode that’s been buffed to be actually challenging
    can’t wait for permanent reflect/permanent stoic/etc

      Stop whining, +10 can solo challenge with -15 mins time. Ereda Amulets sucked ass, one week to rely on RNG and get a +7? PvP=/=PvE tooltips would trivialize a bunch of skills. Thank god Kog doesn’t listen to players or else you guys would ruin the game even more.

        If you opened your eyes and read this babel page, you’d see this is all suggestions and stuff that were guess what, discussed by the players and the actual company.

        And you don’t seem to understand why not separating skills for pve and pvp is a stupid idea. If you nerf a skill in PvE it becomes trash in PvP, if you buff a skill in PvE it becomes op in PvP and vice versa
        Which usually leads to more people whining from either side
        but yeah, you’re right, it’s a bad idea.

      Honestly, if it takes you 20~40 minutes to run through challenge mode solo, I can’t help but feel that you’re either 1.) using a +12 cobo weapon, or 2.) braindead.

    Well, there goes the chances for those that want to get those accessories.

    I would love to see how they gonna make players cooperative to fight Raid Boss. Since that’s the object of fighting Raid Boss in the 1st place.

    Then they should really made that 3rd class advancement like during the April’s Fool joke already. That would be a sight worth to see

    While I don’t know about Hero Dungeon but Henir will never be challenging enough for those +10-12. They can easily fight it like while having their eyes close. While those stuck on +7-9 will just be Hell.

    Lv99 cap – you got another job advancement with that or are we gonna see every skill become “enhanced” now? and the fact that quests stop at lv90…. why? just quest your way up to the cap like you’ve been doing

    hero dungeons- so, lv90+ to enter. reasonable. but if you really want to make it a challenge, how about forcing lv1 stats on everything like the old henir challenge, THAT was actually tough

    ereda- “revamp or remove” huh? I actually agree with this cause ONE TEAM MEMBER FUCKING UP SHOULDN’T CONDEMN THE WHOLE TEAM!

    henir- so the rankings might become like raid boss rankings… I’m not shocked if they do that. and put lv1 henir challenge back on. that was actually tough

    raid- we’ll see about this… gonna wonder how it’ll be team oriented tho. the only “team part” was the ballistas in perk phase 2, even then it’s doable solo with a decent hit count

    field- I never considered this a failure, but it does need a bit more to it

    GoD- it’s fine as is… just buff the mobs a bit

    SD- so, we’re stuck with lv85 SD gear… what the fuck were you guys thinking on that cause it’ll BUTCHER sockets given how the socket system works…. imagine lv99 characters with lv85 sockets cause KOG is too stupid to just up the gear lv requirements. that’s a 14lv stat nerf dumbasses!

    mounts- oh the irony in those mount users. sure I have some myself, but we already do so much damage to mobs lately that I only use mine to speed up movement, and that’s if I’m not teleport spamming on an Aisha (which ppl should do instead of bitching about her speed). and the skills consume stamina… I hope they mean mount stamina and not the gauge that lets us do dungeons…

    dual stones- they just need to bring back every fucking magic stone and let the players pick out the ones they want… and make them all on the 6%/6% socketing scale too, cause S1 stones are too strong (they can go well beyond this) while S3 onwards just suck cause of the low % gain

    host- so if one player lags and it switches to them, we’re all fucked…. JUST GIVE HOST TO THE PLAYER WITH THE BEST CONNECTION TO THE SERVER (or change how we connect to each other anyway).

    quite frankly, a lot of the character systems need reworked for being abuseable or worthless. or they could, idk… remove them and just stick to MP bars

    separate tool tips- THIS pissed me off… the BEST way to balance this game is to make separate damage % or effects BETWEEN PvE and PvP…. so expect more balance upsets cause they won’t listen to us on that

    less frequent patches- so you’re gonna close this game soon… maybe I will see the death of els sooner than I thought… at least the level cap won’t be lv85 like GC

      sorry about this rant, but I really am losing a lot of faith in KOG… this game honestly had so much potential and 80% of it got wasted over the years… and now there seems to be no hope in putting that potential to use…

      The reason they’re not separating tooltips is because it would be too confusing for us as players.

      Actually, it’s only a 5 level nerf because there’s not going to be any gear above level 90.

      They did say they might give us more skills.

          It can be confusing though with 2 tooltips. It depends on how you do it. Certain games and its developers can do it with ease, while others are more likely to spend more money and time to do it. Imagine how the KR community of Elsword would be if they had to learn 2 sets of tool tips whenever they revamp or rebalance? It creates a lot more work than they need to. If they did this a few years ago before revamping consistently, players would have had less to worry about and could adapt to a new format.

          Sadly, since this is pretty late and with so many skills and classes, the workload would only double without any significant benefit.

    We really appreciate you posting this information and translating stuff for us but can you pretty please keep your opinions to yourself or at least soace them apart from the facts like “cause the game is closing soon”

    Pretty sure KoG wouldnt say that or there’d be no point in having plans for the future period. You putting that there is just misleading and a bit irritating to those that it isnt true.

      I’m very sorry. Whatever misunderstanding that occurred was because of me rushing and wording things vaguely. It’s reworded now. -_-;

      There was completely 0% intention of putting in my own opinions in this post. In fact, I have always refrained from including any personal opinions in translations of official translation posts. Or if anything else is ever in there, it’s a light joke that people will be able to distinguish clearly.

      I’d never intentionally mix in misinformation in middle of a serious post filled with true facts like this with the intent to trick people.(Minus April fools). So if anyone sees something that feels off like that from now on, assume that it’s a mistake and notify me and I’ll fix it.

    …..Didn’t KOG say Grand Chase was doing just fine and dandy and we had to hear from Level Up! (Brazil’s publisher.) that Grand Chase was shutting down?

    Okay, that may be wishful thinking on my part….. but I’m pretty sure KOG has been on the path to self-collapse ever since they killed Grand Chase. I am still positive they are bleeding money from developing too many games no one wants to play. (See: Fighters Club which shut down very shortly. Aima which I am surprised is even still alive. And Ultimate Race which we all know will never get a publisher.)

        they could easily make so that there is some switch on skill tree menu to switch between PvP and PvE stats/tooltips, like how the Character U button can switch stats of pvp and pve

      I don’t think it will be in 70s or 60s, since the Sander, Lanox, and Atlas clear videos use the second job models, unless they’re willing to replace the clear videos after third jobs come out.

    Apparently the new level cap is only 99 instead of 100 because of programming.

    There’s a lengthy explanation for it, but the game is programmed in a certain way that only allows for two digit level values (Levels 1-9 are actually “01”-“09” in the code.) and that reprogramming the game to allow for three digit level values would cause a lot of bugs.

    …..And as Void Elsword staff have commented, the client’s code is already a clusterfuck because of the revolving door of Elsword programmers leading to a bunch of different and clashing coding. Just like the revolving door of artists leads to a bunch of different and clashing art styles. (Why did they replace DW’s portrait with a newer, creepy portrait again?)

      how would they manage to fuck it up that badly as to only allow two digit values in a way that would be hard to change…? even a one-byte value can be up to 255.

      also I’m not sure how much I’d trust the words of the void els staff where anything programming-related is concerned. these are the guys whom, faced with a client-crashing bug that could keep people from even getting to character select, made two or three posts in a five page thread about it, provided one of the people dealing with it their skype info, and then never ever talked to anyone in the thread ever again.
      buuuut there’s no doubt that elsword’s code is a clusterfuck; just look at how kog` couldn’t even keep the damned connection stable on a LAN for a tournament. it’s a wonder the game runs at all. doubly so with the whole randomly shifting instance host shit. what’s the server even for if random players host gameplay? just database storage?

      Wait, so how come they won’t use ’00’? If they use the value ’00’ for level 1, then the value ’99’ would allow it to be 100. because 0-99 has 100 numbers.

Don’t circle jerk us with this BS your throwing at us now! The players certainly can’t have faith in your product when the devs sure as hell are losing faith as well. And you know what?! It will leave a mark on you forever KOG! No matter what you produce down the road people are going to remember you as a bunch of mindless ****s. They will remember you as a mindless company who can’t make a game and only wants money. Not only that but the players of GC and Els will shit all over anything you put out simply cause we know better than anyone else what your really like! So you can die 2 ways! Do the right thing try to fix the problem and delay the inevitable or drop out like cowards and have players from all over damage your already fragile rep forever. Do the right thing or F*** off! Don’t hide behind your lies that the game isn’t going to die! Just be honest with us so we can say good riddance! You have already lost so many players. And not to sound like a hypocrite but I never actually hated your products even as they are now! I only hated the ignorance and greed your company continued to show! Els slowly started to die with time and you even made 5 years in NA and more in KR but honestly I don’t think you deserved it. If this is the end so be it!! I’m out!

      Actually, looking back it looks like Chung and Ara actually showed signs of them running out of ideas.

      Chung’s base job had a LOT in common with base Elbrat’s. Brutal Swing = Mega Slash. Detonation = Assault Slash. Lunatic Blow = Fatal Fury. And so on. However, Chung’s job advancements deviated from Elbrat into something new. Granted there were still some similarities in FG/IP and SK/LK skills. (Both had passives that boosted HP and MP generation, for instance.) So Chung ended up being to Elbrat as Ronan was to Elesis in Grand Chase, I suppose.

      Ara was much more unique from day one, but SD and especially YR had some spillover with LK and RS in terms of abilities. (LK and SD both being entirely melee classes with armor break debuffs before the ST revamp gave them out like candy. RS and YR both involve a melee character learning to shoot magic balls and reflecting magic. MK and LD even have a similar town idle pose.) However the gameplay styles are different even if the concepts were similar. (Besides the obvious weapon choice difference, Ara is also more about fast multi-hits while Elbrat is more about power.)

      Asura was made after the creative bankruptcy, so let’s not bring her and all her recycled and recolored skills into this.

      …..Elesis is when they completely ran out of ideas. Chung and Ara just had a lot of things in common with Elbrat. But Elesis WAS Elbrat. A completely superior version of him. (In both story AND gameplay!)

      But oddly enough, the characters to come after Elesis don’t copy anything from Elbrat. MM ripped off Fireplay rom BH, which was actually a completely original skill, but never from Elbrat.

    Whatever excuse(s) kog may spit out like a politician being interviewed, I so see and feel the end of Elsword coming.
    GC also ended when lv85 level cap was reached. honestly it never felt like the kind of game where you can get lv100.
    same with elsword, we’ve finally caught up with the symptoms of a kog game shutting down.
    -less frequent patches.
    -crappy balance patches/content.
    -problems about level cap range
    -taking character images from other games/anime

    and some new symptoms:
    -frequent director changes that mess up the game
    -idk.

        mabi…went to hell in G16s2 when the guy that took over as director for chapter4 started digging his heels in with wanting to convert the game into one of the generic clones of clones of clones of WoW he played before getting his job (which was his stated intent from the start!. how it survives after that and how much of a mess it’s gotten over the years with old code hardly ever being revisited, is beyond mortal comprehension.

        closers… it’s still pretty new, it has time to go to hell.

    So, hey. Anyone else remember Lunia? Action MMORPG also hosted by Nexon in KR and had an exceptionally greedy NA publisher? Had a cheesy kPop login screen song that was sung in English?

    Never mind Grand Chase. THIS is the game we should be looking at for similar symptoms of dying.

    No, really. The reason I say this is because Lunia pulled the stunt of releasing a much needed revamp of a character as a “new character” instead.

    Just like how Elbrat was at the bottom and dire need of a revamp, only for KOG to unleash the horrors of Elesis upon us, Lunia’s cutie Priest Eir was similarly deemed obsolete. She was the healer. At a time, she was valuable. But the direction the game went rendered her useless. PVE went in the direction of “nuke the fuck out of everything” (Sound familiar?) so healing was not needed. And although Eir had damage skills, they were weak.

    So instead of simply buffing Eir’s damage dealing skills + crowd control skills, (She had an AoE sleep.) allM decided that they would release Dark Eir instead! She’s Eir. But with OP damage skills! And bigger boobs! Because being corrupted by darkness makes your boobs bigger. (Unless you’re Elesis. If KOG would have us believe that she is NOT stuffing as Dark Knight….. then lol)

    But yes, I do believe Elsword’s dying days are going to be closer to Lunia’s than Grand Chase’s. Let’s look at what they both have in common:

    -99 level cap of which there was no real reason to hit. (Lunia also had the Rebirth system which made it pointless, but if you did actually hit 99, you’d get more SP to spend on your next Rebirth. Not that it mattered since you got more bonus SP with each additional Rebirth and could eventually max out everything anyway.)

    -PVE content getting more dumbed down over time thanks to insane power creep making things a mere skill spamfest. Bosses won’t last long enough to be a threat.

    -More new characters than new stages towards the end.

    -Both had their mainstream stories/normal areas abruptly end after fighting the “Sun God”. (Well, Lunia’s Sun God was a secret boss that had no bearing on the plot, but he was indeed a boss you could fight in the final normal stage the game ever saw. Just like Solace is going to be the final boss of the Elsword main story. Apparently.)

    -Fuck, going back to the Elbrat and Eir example, Eir also had an older sister who was better than her at everything! And Lir was the special one and true inheritor of the sacred bloodline while Eir was swept under the rug too. (Difference is, Lunia’s story acknowledged this in-universe and Eir didn’t like being in her sister’s shadow. While Elbrat is from everything we’ve seen Elesis’ happy little leg humper.)

    -And back to Eir and Dark Eir again, Dark Eir and Elesis (In one job path.) both have backstories involving (nearly) dying and becoming reborn as edgy dark characters. Sure, tropes get rehashed from Hell and back, but once again. Dark Eir and Elesis are the 2.0 versions of already existing characters who were in need of buffs.

    I used to be able to visit daily and see 1-2 pages of completely new artwork. (As shitty as it can be.) But as of late, there’s only been half a page of new artwork.

    Pixiv hasn’t slowed down, however. But Pixiv Elsword uploads have always been slower compared to the KR website. (But usually higher quality.)

    Resus N Ghrist, finally made it down to the reply box. Though I’m not really sure what to say since things have been said, misinterpreted, resaid, and completely thrown out the window… Guess I’ll just go down the list:

    Level cap & story: Yea, saw this coming, MMOs never go over level one hundred unless there’s a rebirth or second leveling system. The same about the story given that all the Elpriestesses were suddenly gathered in Lanox and you end up killing/sealing the lead demon. All that’s left is going to heaven and smacking around the divine for not doing their jobs.

    Hero dungeons: No idea what these even are, moving on.

    Ereda: Call me a wuss but I prefer Ereda over normal PvP because I don’t like to deal with the salt. I’m guessing the direction they want is something along the lines of Competitive PvE. I don’t know, but I don’t want to see it turn into GoD 2 or get removed.

    Henir: Never stayed interested in a character long enough to really take part in Henir. At least with the last level cap and end of story dungeons they should be able to construct something semi-concrete out of it.

    Raid: Never did it, never joined a guild, 4evaraloon

    Field: Yea… Basically when I learned you get a super buff along with spamtastic NPCs if the que rolls you a crap team, fields became obsolete. Plus I never really liked field bosses anyways.

    Gate of Darkness: I’ve really got nothing to say other then I wished it ended when you beat the last enemy commander instead of just having to mash the attack button for a minute to break the gate.

    Secret Dungeons: See Henir. Though we’re likely to expect at least two more for Feita & Elysion.

    Mounts: -Explodes in P2W induced rage- Though using the mount stamina instead of the character’s MP is welcome.

    Mentor System: See Hero dungeons

    Magic Stones: Can they at least make it so everything doesn’t give you crit?

    Host: Is that why I suddenly lose the UI on my party’s stats? (And by extension the ability to res them…)

    Tutorial: You know what the new fancy tutorials thought us that the old one didn’t? How to awaken.

    Less patches: Ehhh, expected from MMOs as they shovel out more cash shop items.

    Tooltips: …I don’t PvP

    And the rest is KR nonsense so now to stalk Babel till replies show up

    99 lvl. For wut? For glory? Nah. It too creepy lvling without stoy quest’s, or realize new technics for chars.
    Yes, i still hope for 3rd jobs for chars before it will be too late. 3rd jobs with combination classic and new mechanics, like additional weapon, or 3-button combos.
    Story for each path-class – it may be nice idea for realizing chouice of player.
    Ereda cool, but less players do it.

    Actually it has been long since I’ve been scared. Even though Atlas/Elysion has been so far refreshing, one thing bothered me a lot – and that is THE TEXTURES. Seriously, have you seen them on some objects in Elysion? I mean what is the last thing you see before fighting the 10-2 boss? An epic statue with some boxes, but just look at those edges… This shows how much they care about the little bits…
    And this lvl 99 of course is a bad sign, they could’ve actually started a new storyline after this one ended. They could’ve revamped ruben/elder/bethma/altera and maybe velder. Don’t they realise the big problem with Grand Chase and now Elsword is that it is not challenging at all. Especially the first half of the towns and even later… A game must excite, but when some excellent boss design is ruined by its immobility and braindeadness I just don’t now what to say. Why are they SO scared that players will be turned off by SOME difficulty? Have they ever lost a community in a game because of it being too hard? I’m sure that the answer is no. And no, I do not want a Touhou clone, the difficulty of the dungeons should just gradually rise and become quite difficult towards the end (the sooner the better, since many are turned off by the stiffiness of the mobs by the time they get to Bethma (for example, the people who I have met in the game and my friends who stopped playing because of this). Why do the developers excel at music of their games which at times is just gorgeous and inspiring, but let down the coolness of the moment by mobs that just don’t react faster than a snail!
    Considering that modern games MUST give the possibility to not sit hours playing it, because we are no longer in the hardcore 90’s, I admit that shorter dungeons are required. But does that suppose that they must become unbearably easy? No. They might be blazing fast, but they may also pose a great challenge and provoke some thinking on evading mobs’ attacks. If only KOG or whoever are in charge could combine speed and challenge – I’m sure Elsword would bloom freshly. I can only hope that they shall listen to us and my propositions…

    the old Challenge mode was way more thrilling since all stats almost like in pvp…and bosses hit pretty hard too…

    while the current challenge mode (in NA tho), relying mostly on overpower gear…

    They admitted that you can pretty much say WHATEVER you want with money/any in-game function.

    When people complain about KOG NA’s community being retarded, that’s because as long as money is involved, it will suck.

    While we all had the general idea and more or less knew cash was above all, it’s unfortunately true in Elsword. A little too true…

    It’s really sad, even if you have proof, they won’t acknowledge it because money’s involved. Is this shocking? No, not at all. Considering this is still a Nexon game, by way of Nexon KR…..$$$$$$$$

    Oh, you can EASILY get away with this in NA. Just bypass the filter. I’ve got about 12 screenshots split between 3 reports, all with similar emails. Of course, all that I saw was people who used cash.

    Considering that pedophilia, rape, and any other immature brat “jokes” that are completely sexually explicit, and that it’s most of “humor”… anything goes. So long as you pay for it, you can say whatever you want. No joke. GM “Quentine” said so. Sigh, it sucks having proof of this, because it really does mean there’ll be an eventual end. Corrupted games don’t last forever, aside Maple, somehow, that is still around…

    What does it matter, anyway? We won’t get the wardrobe system anywhere, due to it being too hard, and anything Korea gets is because they want money. We won’t get anything that helps people try to get to +12 or anything above 7~9 “easily”, and it’s all Ice Burners all the time. Even Digimon Masters lets you have classic tamer skins as a super rare drop. That game forces you to practically pay to progress if you don’t constantly farm.

    Well, their best idea is fusing removed skills for most transcendence, they really have no idea what they’re doing, and may well be on the final year or so. Flying impact makes a pseudo return, taking part with another skill. 2 swings each. Alright. That’s nice. Yay.

    Ultimately, we get +13. Why? If there’s not going to be any new content, why raise the power level to 13?

    The amount of money it’d even take to touch +13, what an obvious cash scam. A gimmick for money, huh? What other explanations, if they contradicted their “challenge mode is too easy”?

    Connecting this Q&A with the current game’s state/progress, and what they’re doing to all characters, making them ridiculous to the point where there’s no point in PvP or PvE. Some are beyond saving, some were barely salvaged.

    Oh, and then they put the most lackluster abilities behind a hefty paywall. You know, if you’re going to have this fake 3rd class system, you might as well make it easier and less of a cash grab. Seriously, what’s with those prices?

    The transcend class change tickets are even more absurd. And they’re already absurd in price! There’s no actual technical detail that makes them so valuable. How much is one looking for, for an easy transcend? $50 USD?

    Skill unlocks, slot amplification (which may ironically become locked skill slots instead, and pay to use in other servers.).

    I know it’s not mandatory, but it’s because it’s not mandatory that it shouldn’t cost so much. If it does have a high price, then is that really a good sign? MapleStory Global keeps doing frequent NX sales. They’ve been at it for a while, but it keeps getting worse and worse.

    Dragon’s Prophet wasn’t too bad, but they had sales as their final notice before killing it. The last update was months ago before that. Runes of Magic I hear is also pretty much dead. You name it, most games are in a standstill. Most games just want that extra cash before deciding to finally kill it. It’s just a matter of time where they’ll have huge sales before flipping the kill switch.

    And to that one guy.

    KoG is a developer. KoG is under Nexon. If KoG decides that Nexon’s not doing a good job, they can actually do something about it. The problem is, no matter what company runs an Elsword, Elsword’s still under morons.

    DFO was mistreated horrendously by Nexon America. It was so bad that the developers took it on themselves to run a server for the rest of the world. They even got fans to help translate it to multiple languages. Developers do have that power. Developers are above Nexon.
