Volume 5ch2 pdf

I’ll see if I can finish rest of the volume at least within 2 weeks. I want to finish volume 5 asap myself because my intuition tells me vol.6 is going to be arriving pretty soon.

It came to mind now but…

All of this talk about someone else having time travel powers. I believe that an Add is on their side. A DiE to be precise. And that the DiE in the first chapter was that DiE losing against Eve. That’s why the Add in our story does not remember anything, all those failures weren’t his.

Add is Add. There could be multiple branching timelines, but they all must meet at an origin point somewhere before they split off. Considering Eun has memories of helping Add in the past, it seems illogical to conclude that it’s a different Add this time than it was before. Indeed, Add’s own subconscious memories such as knowing Ran’s name in Elder and etc imply that indeed it was the same Add who failed all those times.

Diabolic Esper being D has been theorized by many for a while now, and in my opinion, this does not seem like the direction the writers wish to take. It seems a bit too obvious. Indeed, they easily could have made a few references that seem to imply DE as a red herring to keep the true identity a surprise.

My guess is that D is one of two things:
      1. The final boss of the game. The boss they decide to implement at the very end of PvE when they have their mind made up that new dungeons are done. This could be the Secret Dungeon boss of Elysion.
      2. A completely original character specific to this light novel series.

The first option would mean that the game story could tie into the light novel, as the novel series could function as a sort of sequel where D struggles to get revenge after failing the first time. This is backed up by Aisha’s revelation of having achieved her great power through great sacrifice.
The second option would be interesting as well, as an original character entirely would allow the series to hold up better on it’s own as something worth reading if you are a fan of the game.

The only one reason we could exclude my theory is because of Eun saying that he helped him, that’s all. The rest is pretty much conjecture on your part on how timelines work.

in the end you’re all speculating speculations over speculations.
D is most likely Diabolic Esper ,maybe as (ingame) alternate timeline Add that made it to the past, but as job description goes, fails to ‘rewrite’ his own timeline’s past.

It all feels cliche sure, but this is a freaking light novel and its been pretty damn cliche up till now.

    Thanks again for the updates!

I have the feeling that Chloe could turn into a ally on any moment.

And I suppose that Elsword in last moment he will ignore Add’s order and fight Elesis by himself alone.

  • zetgeist says:

as usual, it is confirmed that Rena is Best.

  • Shadow S.R. says:

Elsword (SK) isn’t right in his head. XD
He may have a chance to defeat Elesis (DK/CrA) but it’s pretty low for a chance. XD
Anyway, that’s still funny to see that Elsword is kinda crazy too.
