2) Once Enhancing over +8, can get same level of magic amulet by consuming 1 [Cobo] Fluorite Stone and 1 [Cobo] Blessed Restoration Scroll

 

Event 2. Enhancing Support items given every day. Materials Needed for Enhancement Unified.

1) Only 1 Fluorite Stones or Blessed Restoration Scrolls are consumed when Enhancing during event period

2) Log in 30 minutes daily to get 1x Event El Hammer, 1x [Cobo] Fluorite Stone

3) 01/25(Wed), Log in for 1 hour to get Blessed Restoration Scroll bag

[Dungeon]

  1.  Halted Sun’s Memory and Secret Dungeon difficulties nerfed.
  2. Added new quest to obtain Elite Secret Dungeon weapon.

-1 time per character, clear Secret Dungeon clear quest to obtain ‘Secret Dungeon Weapon Cube’. Get 1 random Elite Secret Dungeon Weapon appropriate for your character from the cube.

      Nexon manages enhancement events and profit gain, not KOG. Also, NA recently had this enhancement event and I already set myself up with a +9 weapon on a character for no cost to me. Other people got +10, some people actually got +11.

      It’s not a blind enhance “give us more money” thing like what we’ve seen in the past, and flourites are tradable so you can actually go off and fund yourself (or attempt to) with the discounted flourites/scrolls.

    No EE transcendence? Thought they were going new job path > new IM items > new transcendence > new IM items with the updates.

    ???? update “Coming Soon”. Note the Coming Soon, it’s something important because they wouldn’t need to say that new IB/IM items or a new event is “Coming Soon”. I get the feeling it probably isn’t Transcendence related since they probably already have all of Ain’s paths prepared and wouldn’t need to pre-announce it, and it could be story quest related but I don’t think they would make something new that fast after Halted Sun’s Memory. I don’t think it’s another revamp since then they could have just announced it along with the other revamps this week. Something like a new raid boss would get chaotic with Ain’s other paths coming out at the same time, Ain players wouldn’t be able to rank well.

    I’m thinking another “mini-dungeon” like Add’s EFT might be okay, but instead of a weapon it drops a free B-Slot or something. The only thing I can remember that they hid before releasing it was El Resonance where they didn’t give us any details before releasing it.

    So…my guesses are either another Add’s EFT dungeon or a new, completely unnecessary feature that doesn’t affect gameplay like “Elrios Fashion Contest” which is exactly what it sounds like or more side stories involving the characters. It can’t be a huge revamp for Heroic dungeons or something cause they never announce those…

    Kog: buff Community: complain. Repeat process over and over then we get a nerf and all the pve nuts start crying. I do not understand. How do you complain when all you do in pve is clear a room and then rotate. Hello? Koreans have been complaining about pve being too easy. This is that answer. Every server has been complaining about pvp. THIS IS THAT ANSWER TOO.

      2. From what I heard megaphone in KR are full of complaints toward this pve nerf

        1. KR has always been complaining that PvE was easy. During the developer meeting with representatives, the reps made stated that a lot of people thought PvE was too easy. KOG responded that they believed they had let the players become too powerful.

          1. I remembered you posted in NA as well arguing that if ppl cannot get +8 amulet with epic quest reward, they do not manage very well. If you think +8 is quite important to run pve, why you believe rep and KoG’s word that pve is too easy more than megaphone’s rants? I don’t even think most NA ppl who liked to call pve “brain dead” think pve nerf is justified or pve now is too easy, in particular heroic hell. Not to mention that such rep/kog talk about pve too powerful was long past before most recent updates. You give more weight to ppl ranting now or what they said in the last few months?
          I also want to ask how you assumed every free players can buy +8 with just epic quest rewards when they need to buy other thing such as B-slot, permanent pets and etc? I dont think +8 is only thing they need to run pve.

            Usually I try to be the logic level headed guy. That or the guy that makes the occasional playful sarcastic remark. However, people have been quite negative for a bit. Perhaps it’s getting to me. Might I be a bit of a snob? Maybe. But I do tend to try and look at things fairly level headed most of the time.

            Also, I never really implied you’d get a +8 and whatnot fast, if you’re a free player, you have to commit for the long run, you can’t expect immediate gratification, since you’ve chosen the long route. This is the exact same thing I did. I rarely cash for anything and I’ve still gotten B-Slot for a decent number of my mains, +8~9 cross their weapons, and 2+bil ED, it is all about waiting for the moments to take advantage of. That’s how you survive as a free player, and that is how I have.

I dont know but those guys always thinking like every players have +10 and forget anyone else. Thats why there is more people leaving this game becos it’s (almost) unplayable for a not so hardcore/casual players (and people who have time to spend on life too) . This game is harsh for newbie. There are a lot of players who only play the game for two weeks, then leaving the game forever. For me of course it so much fun finishing heroic easier and quicker with my +11 than my +10. And then i can catch up with life and other bussines without leaving the game. I dont find at all how it is even more “fun” with +9 either. So ya. Elsword player should start thinking for the casual player even they are not spending more than the people who complains. Safe to say Kog doesnt care about the casual player because it’s the +11 who spend more money on this game.

          But here’s the thing: they did nothing to make PVE more difficult. They just made everything take longer to kill.

          Tedium =/= difficulty.

          They tried to make PVE harder in the most idiotic way possible. (After people were already complaining about Solace Round 2 taking too damn long to kill unless you have a +13. His HP regen already made him impossible to solo for lesser geared players.) And now they’re alienating players yet again.

          How many more of these updates that make players ragequit en masse can KOG really afford to put out before Nexon really does pull the plug? I’d imagine they have zero lives left if this isn’t finally the one.

          I’m sure there’s extra resentment in this one because this is an update that players actually asked for and then KOG’s implementation is basically what someone would post in a “Corrupt a Wish” thread.

          “Yeah, we’ll give you your PVE and PVP skill modifier segregation. But we’ll nerf the hell out of everyone in the process, except the new guy, of course. Buy more NX today!”

          Totally agree with you.
          I don’t think pp who run pve with +10-13, even +8-9, should say pve is too easy or too fast. When I did SD (after the latest mob/boss buffs to be much more tanky) 20 runs for 5/5 quest with lv 70-80 party, it took too long even though I knew how to run. The reason is not only they lack experiences or transcendence skills but most low level don’t upgrade weapon pass +7 for non-endgame weapon.

            Maybe I’m weird like this, but I LIKE fast dungeon runs. I don’t like it when I can’t get any hits in because of (for example) a +12 BH one-shotting everything with Blazing Wing, but I completely agree with Endgame here. Tedium does NOT equal difficulty.

            Oh, and I completely forgot! The secret dungeons get nerfed (Why???) too, so this whole “balancing” effort doesn’t amount to anything for me. Meanwhile, Heroic Dungeon bosses will take even LONGER to kill.

          Takes me forever to do but I’ve already solo’d Luto Elder with only a +9 after all my party members died and didn’t feel the need to revive (and were punted completely by the time I got to the boss). Took me 22 minutes to do a single dungeon, but since I knew the patterns and had already done the dungeon with solo buff over 500 times on different characters, I didn’t even need to use many potions.

          People in NA suck at PvE and the majority have always been a PvP playerbase. If people want to make more excuses instead of get better at the game, I don’t mind at all since they’re still part of the playerbase. But I’ve had no issue with PvE outside of garbage teammates for as long as I can remember playing this game, and that issue still has not changed. People do not trust randoms for a reason, yet we’ve had them in our queue for years now.

          +8 is one of the easier enhances to work for. If you can pay for a trans B slot, then you can also pay for a +8 since their prices (at least on NA) are pretty tame. Blacksmithing at lv7 achieves +8 easily, and I have a lv54 who is my blacksmith….and he’s lv5. It’d be catering to player laziness at this point since you get 36m off of story quests heading up to lv85 (and every dungeon heading up to that point is dirt easy). Make 3 characters of the same character, get shared bank (which was free for people who did it back then), grind a little. Boom, there’s your +8 in literally 12 days if you “work hard” (which is really just cheese) at the game at all. Ridiculously needy playerbase.

          What I don’t agree with is the length of time dungeons take if you are solo’ing at all, since games like DFO and other grindy MMOs support solo gameplay for the most part. The lack of a “Scenario mode” like what DFO uses as well to give easier story quests and higher exp values so leveling isn’t such a hassle to do on weekdays. But then again, they released Bethera and Hot Spring rest exp. This game is much easier than it used to be when a BM couldn’t do spore duty at Type H.

            Looks like most of u missed my point. I dont talk about sdg and i dont talk about how hard it is either. The point of what i say above is the time i spend doing heroic hell is more longer (because time is money, lol. Plus spending more pots despite i dont really like it, it’s impossible to not taking pots in heroic hell especially elysion area and if u say you arent then your are a big liar. If it’s happens u never play heroic hell then shut up lol). What i meant to say in my busy college life, i still want to play the game doing the daily quest, henir, ERP ect the most i can do in my tiny little free time (mostly doing heroic and henir to sell the rewards. Sdg only for erp).
            So now u takes so much time doing only sdg.

            And if you are saying in the name of “fun”, I dont find it fun doing 1 sdg run 22 minutes. In 20 minutes i can do about 4-5 sdg run no solo buff. Much more efficient but of course becoz of my +11. But i dont complain it is being too “easy” like a mad bitch. +7/+8 will find it exhausting. Maybe. lol. This is not how u make pve fun
            And i still say that this game is harsh for newbie aka u say “lazy” player :/

            My SD run only took so long because it was a solo Luto thanks to my party dying. I only use +9 on garbage Yama Raja and still managed to have it be 22 minutes while not eating through my consumes. Tedious? Yes. But there’s a certain satisfaction for when your entire team gets kicked by the game because you’re the only one who knows how to solo.

            This game isn’t harsh at all to the newbie player at all. You’re admitting it yourself that the game is punishing to “lazy” players, which means players that aren’t really putting any effort into the game. That can be newer players, but the majority of players that I see end up like that have been playing for 3+ months at the very least.

            Complaining about heroic hell difficulty (which means you need to actually use resources) and length of time is pointless. That was intentional, and the majority of people I’ve known who do the mode tend to only do the daily of 3 runs and then stop. If you were arguing because of a daily activity with limited time of participation (Raid for example), I’d understand. College + that is extremely hard to manage due to scheduling with 8-man teams, trying to find each other and finally getting the right run. People also had multiple characters to take of, making it even harder. But SDs? They take literally no time and you have a +11, so Henir shouldn’t be an issue either even with these nerfs.

            What are you comparing that to? KR? Ok, yes compared to the overly gear carried players in KR, who have had all the essentials handed to them since day 1, yes we do seem a bit inferior.

            But please, let’s be VERY clear here, compared to every other server, NA is one of the best hands down. Our GM’s and game managers are greedy bastards who don’t make it easy for us and we STILL do amazing in PvE. (PvP is debateable. Players are unoriginal in PvP in the NA server)

            So, don’t sit there and say we suck at PvE when the only thing you’re probably basing it off of is KR YouTubers. Sorry bud, but basing your opinions off Misiaili, lAmazonl, Hi Ro, Jae, Lime, etc, who are all VERY VEEERY OP in both gear and skill is not valid AT ALL. Those players have been playing from S1 (Probably beta even), probably grew up from young adult hood to adult hood and have invested heavily into the game. So OF COURSE they would seem godlike, but does that mean comparing them to NA is ok? Most would say no. So, shut your mouth unless ofc you have something to back that up. Like a YouTube video of your work in action? If not, then ssh!

            That’s my 2 cents.

          welcome to the top 5% mentality. either you’re the most over the top whale/tryhard/etc or you don’t exist, both in the minds of the devs and the minds of the aforementioned top 5%.

          of course, it’s not like kog` hasn’t been balancing around the biggest spenders for years. even back in the day when peita was an area you did a bit of here, a bit of there… basically it started stacking the deck once you hit belder. mildly at first so you wouldn’t really think of it, but by the time sander became a thing, kog` was getting higher and higher into the “why are you not whaling for that .01% chance of not breaking your item?” territory.

          the irony was when they decided to have “solo” ultrahard runs of shit added after they’d spent a year or more trying to beat people out of soloing. of course, that “solo” content is whale content, and much like SDs were even back in the day, tweaked way up out of what’s a reasonable range because lol cash moar.
          and heavy cashers will always defend it and tell you to “git gud” and claim that the inflated numbers aren’t inflated, as they do in any game. hell, that kind of player will come out with that shit even in games where cashing doesn’t impact gameplay.
          but I digress.

          korean games have a long history of becoming increasingly centered around whales at the level cap. such dev houses never learn and kill their games via cutting off their own new player supply one way or another.
          kog` tries to push people past the early game as fast as possible while shoving lots of “cash now!” flags in your face, but there’s those who just won’t cash, or just can’t cash, and those people are still valuable if they stick around because Word Of Mouth is a powerful thing, but… the mindset ignores the fact that a game will eventually run out of players if newbies tend to have a high rate of quitting and end up telling all their buddies, as the whales and oldbies eventually get bored and move on to other games.

          meanwhile: tryhards, whales, etc calling people lazy and such, pretending everything’s fine because they’re getting what they want.

            Casual players are the majority of what keep expensive and unfair microtransactions of mobile games alive. There’s no reason to believe that Elsword should cater to these players at all because the content is extremely casual unless you specifically do content that is harder (i.e. Hero mode and Challenge henir).

            The vast majority of the game (or any game you can say) comes the effort you put in. And if you’re lazy, you’ve killed the meaning of playing the game in and of itself. That’s exactly why lazy players shouldn’t be rewarded. Entertainment when it requires your attention span, will to learn, etc. is a job, and it has its own rewards. If you think entertainment is more like watching a movie where it GIVES you that experience then you’ve pretty much ignored what gaming has become at large.

      @Crag, you being the most stuck up Chung of NA, I’m sure you wouldn’t understand, but the reason this even happened was because they didn’t know what balance was.

      The over-buffed or underbuffed every character, then made dungeons that can not be PROPERLY cleared without being overbuffed or over geared. So giving us nerfs NOW of all times. When we have an entire region that relies on how much damage you do (Elysion) is absurd. Henrir is now too hard thanks to these nerfs, Hero dungeon is impossible and if you are an underbuffed character to begin with (Like Dreadlord) then impossible is just an understatement. Not to mention, that now, at this point in the game, there are some classes that +13 won’t do much for. Also, resonance would’ve been an amazing system if they hadn’t made any level above 150 almost impossible to get.

      So, yes we are hard to satisfy because KoG had a hand in shaping the community that way. How about you get off your ass, let go of Chung for a sec. Go play another class for once and see how bad it is.And NO raven doesn’t count.

        Unless you’re playing wheelchair classes like Yama Raja who actually have terrible PvE interactions (i.e. main dps being forced to Secret Art which takes forever to cast), you shouldn’t be complaining. Really hate people talking about how “weak” DL is when he still has Oriax in-kit, one of the PvE jesus effects that no other character has. His skills are all instant too, which is glorious for PvE interactions. Skills doing less damage doesn’t really affect surviving unless your dodge/sustain consistency is terrible, so the Henir complaint is moot and the hero mode complaint is based on what you can actually handle dodging (which seems to be absolutely nothing by the way you speak). Or maybe you’re one of those people who don’t have fire/water res and have the Supreme mobs kill you through their passive elixir effects?

        Petrify/Freezing meta makes it so that 90% of the game is easy if a Rune Slayer is on your team or if you decided to put points into proc rate for ERP. GoD elixirs only make this way more doable.

        +13 is basically brute force, so no it will not win you hero mode if you can’t so much as dodge a projectile from an entire screen away. Otherwise it will completely stomp everything without an issue, considering a +11 BM can just roflstomp through most of the content hitting like a +12. It’d be delusional to believe +13 is “not enough.”

        But class bias is real. Here I am playing YR and doing 1/3 of what mostly everyone does because of terrible PvE interactions that have nothing to do with % values, and here other people are thinking about the % values and not how they’re applied.

Oriax is in fact his bread and butter will in PvE due to its effect on his trans passive but that’s kinda untrue now thanks to the 1st class tooltip “balance.” Even if we aren’t talking about hero, Dreadlord suffered the most during the split stat Nerf to the point where brute force is what we need! Yes he has a good amount of debuff skills WHICH WERE USED TO BUFF HIS COMBINATION MOVES WHICH ARE NOW LESS THAN SHIT! Unless you plan on attempting to use his gorilla actives in PvE, which by the way DOES LITTLE TO SHIT FOR YOU WHEN YOU’RE IN THE LATER DUNGEONS, then with every new nerf you are in even graver danger of being bodied by mobs in PvE.

          You guys keep thinking Dreadlord is still the same as he used to be when he’s so far from it. Players are still trying to figure out what to socket for Dreadlord because he needs so much!

        As for Crimson Rose, tooltips will BARELY change her, because almost all of her damage is from stacked buffs, revolver attacks, and Dancing Rush (largely for stacking some of said buffs). The worst thing they could do to her tooltip-wise is nerf Blood Bullet, which I hope they never do, but at this point I can’t reasonably expect the KR division to do anything intelligently.

    These changes the game is getting from the “PVP/PVE tooltip separation and balancing” seems to me the thing that’ll finally kill Elsword. I’m a player from BR server and KoG has to see this reality: DOESN’T MATTER IF KOREAN PLAYERS COMPLAIN ABOUT PVE BEING TO EASY, SINCE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO GET THE MOST OF THE +12/+13. Meanwhile, in other servers (mine included) you can consider yourself a lucky on from having a bloody +11 (inside your whole account). Of course PVE is going to be easy for Korean players. But since other servers don’t get “full of +12~13 players” so easily, I don’t think that’s a good solution. And I say that because Elsword’s endgame is already difficult. For you to become kinda strong, you should at least pick “SD set”. But SD is difficult for those who don’t have a good gear already. So, while Elsword is shitty game for starters (because of prices and so on), it’s going to also become shit for the ones who are playing endgame, since classes are getting nerfed as hell. As an example, I’ll tell bout DL’s situation. Everybody knows the job path is, right now, pathetically weak. When they got Critical nerfed, it killed “Ruinous Impact”. With a +10 you kill nothing using it, even when it has 4000% physical damage. And now, it was kinda halved. It’ll kill nothing.

    That’s outrageous.. And I’ve given up already.

        KOG had a rare opportunity (For Korean developers. They’re smaller than western or Japanese studios.) to make five different games, only to run four of them into the ground. The fifth one (Ultimate Race) never even got off the ground.

        And the worst part? Grand Chase was shut down on their own accord. THEY were the ones who decided to pull the plug. No one else. The Taiwanese publisher announced that they wanted to renew the contract but KOG didn’t. And we’ve all heard by now how hard Level Up! (Brazilian publisher) tried and pleaded to keep the game alive.

        We’ve all seen the reach of the Long Live the Chase movement. Grand Chase had plenty of good will left in the minds of the players when it shut down. Does anyone think Elsword would have that? Would there be a “Long Live the Sword” if KOG announces Elsword is going down?

        Fuck no. When KOG finally announces they’re done, we’re partying in the streets. KOG has made us resent them like no other company has turned their fans against them. (Well, except Nintendo…..)

      I played KR as free player for almost 6 years, got more than 100 full ib sets but never get more than +9 weapons. I purchased ib sets through ED earning from marketeer. +9 amulet is about 400m in KR so you think free player can buy +10 if it could be put on the market ????

      It is totally wrong to assume most free players in KR can get more than +9 without insane luck as hitting lottery jackpot. Add fusion weapon is also thought as KR’s meta but most ppl I saw in SD still use SD gears. To enter Add fusion theory dungeon, you need to get at least 160 power level, which is +9 weapon as minimum (unless you have legendary weapon or Heroic set). KR ppl even said Add fusion theory is double baits to buy fluorites to be strong enough to enter and farm it then upgrade it later.

      I understand everyone wanted to forge theory why KoG did pve nerf but don’t forget KoG’s logic is either where money flow the most or no logic at all.

      The only content I’ve found difficult in Elsword is Solace dungeon because of his techniques and hero dungeon where completion is the difficult portion. Luto is even easy when people are around the same level as each other (which if they aren’t is a queue issue, not a player issue).

      This update is more anti-casual than anything, because I don’t feel largely affected. Dungeons take a bit longer, woohoo. Nothing serious at all with Freezing and Petrify meta in PvE, which almost completely make a joke out of even hero mode when you’re carrying a +9. Did people forget this update happened? Nah, they just don’t want to fund their shards all over again. As usual from the casual playerbase.

      Jokes aside, an issue I keep finding for lesser geared players is maximize socket which naturally dumpsters your dps regardless of enhance unless you stack it. Even with the numerous sage stone events we’ve received (from KR/NA standpoint), I’m pretty doubtful that people actually attempted for maximize if they already were playing at a casual level. You can set up a 10k maxi build with only +8 gear full and an IM set, and it makes your dps end similarly to what a +9 would. Naturally it works that way for every enhance and will compensate players who are stuck at +8-9.

      Then there’s professions which casuals largely ignore despite being an integral part of money-making and the stability of what enhance you can obtain. I got 200m just on oath grind on a lv6 (now 8) Treasure Hunter, which naturally would be double if I was higher to begin with.

      So yeah, basically it’s get Light/Freezing going, get professions going, and bam. You’ll realize that these nerfs are nothing. If that’s too much for you, then you weren’t even really trying to begin with.

      Element revamp was a large portion of what was making the game so easy. Enhancements were just another reason. You can basically lock a boss forever with a Rune Slayer on team and Freezing + Petrify. Even without a Rune Slayer, the elements themselves are monstrous at holding monsters off and only really decrease in effectiveness against faster mobs like Fallen Chloe or mobs that melt you by default, like Luto Elder Crossbow Soldiers. If you’re solo’ing (which this game doesn’t support and will likely never support outside of what they’ve done so far), then tough luck I guess.

      Solace is one of the few harder dungeons in the whole game, it’s not surprising at all that people are experiencing issues, especially when it’s new in NA. Most people don’t even memorize boss mechanics in this game, as seen with hero mode bosses and the complete decimation of teams when it was first released in its vanilla form.

      KOG has had their stuff together for a while now, it’s the players that don’t and naturally unhappiness spreads like a disease due to ignorance. Have fun on your hiatus though.

        Actually. They should consider separate-server patches. KR is full of +11/12’s, NA has a mix of +9,10,11, and 12. So when they do a mass nerf, not only KR is affected.           Not sure if you’ll see this but the vast majority of henir challenge is the capability of knowing boss tactics and some luck on your side of things for defeating certain bosses in the weekly rotation.

          I use +9 on my own Yama Raja and just carrying freezing 1 + light 1 is enough to defend yourself against some bosses. She has a heal built into her 3bead so the sustain for an Ara usually isn’t the problem. Her damage output is entirely situational and I spent half an hour solo’ing Henir challenge with Spa buff. I held back my hyper often despite having a lowered CD on it, so it definitely could’ve went faster.

          However, Magmanta has consistently decimated parties in challenge due to the “one hit poison death” and while you can argue some bosses are hard, I have never been directly beaten in Henir Challenge by any other boss aside from double Maya and double Dekal, which are the absolute hardest. My parties have never struggled with anything outside of those factors as well.

          I will say two things about the current playerbase:

          1. We do not optimize for PvE in every given situation. Either to conserve potions, a player not having enough experience, lack of studying boss patterns, lack of PvE element, whatever flaw you can name really the community has in some form that you will see at random in queue or even in yourself. This makes the difficulty of PvE look inflated.

          2. We don’t take the easiest routes to our point of success. I don’t know why people do challenge over normal when normal is ridiculously easy in comparison and only gives you 40 less time and space elements. I don’t know why people who literally cannot do luto proceed to do it and then fail miserably. But that also gives bad feelings about the current state of PvE that have no reason to be there outside of the person’s recklessness.

          KOG ended up buffing some classes from this patch, especially on the end of Hypers which lesser geared players are much more prone to using. So they do have their stuff together, even if it’s not absolutely flawless (can’t expect that from any game company).

    The big issue is obviously everything being so damn repetitive. Everytime when we wanted to play a new character, the grindfest makes it shitty, and KOG does little improvement on making dungeons fun.

    Lets take DFO for example, at the very least they decided to turn all leveling related dungeon content into scenario dungeons, which allows you to play different types of maps of the same dungeons and makes the leveling process less of a chore. The only solution elsword ever employs to ‘solve’ this is to hand out 200% exp medals, or exp events. This makes it boring, and it already went on for several years with this decision. Also, i recently tried out Arme Thaumarturgy when it came out in elsword TW (i havent created or played a new char in a long time), and the whole game is just so unbearable, being that everything is time-limited and once they expire, i would need to buy a B-slot, avatar, transcendence skill slot, pet, pet items, mount etc… just to be ‘on par’ with the norm, and not to mention title grinding. That alone costs more than 60 bucks (not IB avatars obviously) just to even maintain a new character. Thats disgusting since my copy of FFXV costs less than that amount.

    I played elsword ever since it came out without any hiatus, but finally decided to pull the plug and move on, occasionally looking at these updates for my amusement and playing DFO and my console games every now and then, and even doing that saves a truckload of my time. The reason being the grindfest getting from bad to worse as you hit endgame status. Take for example the skill quests, the transcendence, hyperactive quests and whatsover, it already takes so many runs to complete them, but now KOG decided to buff monsters and nerf pve skills. Like adding salt unto an open wound. And every god damn new dungeon require equips that are several leagues ahead of the previous dungeon (i am talking about solace ofc, you cant even get pass one of his phases, the one where he collects he 3 swords before a giant explosion, without the solo buff with a +10 WEAPON).

    I once contended with my friends that elsword wouldnt shut down that easily. Now i am not sure lol. Good luck to whoever is still struggling in the game, may you find peace.

      Even if they announce the game is shutting down this year the server will still be up until 2018 because Korean laws mandate that games have to be kept up for a certain amount of time after the cash shop is closed down. It’s why KR Grand Chase wasn’t actually shut down until 12/31/15.

      However, I still stand by my projection that 2018 will be Elsword’s last year. Even if Ain hype did manage to buy KOG some more time. (Remember, if everyone’s playing Ain, they won’t be noticing the nerfs yet. Ain was untouched.)

          The official explanation is that expending most of her mana breaking free from Karis’ seal….. I’m sorry, Barkat’s seal (lolretcons. We can still clearly see it’s Karis with her hair down in the intro.) caused her to reverse age. And that “gaining her powers back” as Noblesse causes her to age from a (demon equivalent to a human) 8 year old to a 12 year old. She also has to share what little mana she has left with Ciel to keep him alive.

          Scar said something about not having enough mana after Loli Elesis gutted him. So why didn’t he reverse age too? Instead he bulked up so much that his armor doesn’t fit him anymore….. (Not that it helped him. loleasiest boss in the game.)

          And Aisha, well, Lu stole the whole “lost most of her powers” thing from her in the first place. But Aisha losing her powers didn’t get in the way of her blossoming into a perfect goddess~. Is this only a demon thing? Could have Lu theoretically punished Karis by draining her powers to make herself a woman again while Karis reverts to loli cancer? Then once again, why didn’t Scar reverse age when Elesis gutted him?

          I mean, besides the part where I’m putting 1000x or higher times the amount of thought into this than KOG did.

            It might be because of what TYPE of demon she is. Scar clearly doesn’t look like the same type of demon as Lu.

        -She clearly looks like a prepubescent girl and wears sexualized outfits. So it doesn’t matter what kind of excuses the developers come up with. If you are sexually aroused by such childish appearances, you’re a pedophile. Period.

        -When something is “thousands of years old”, it usually comes with slower aging compared to humans. Which means the children of that race also take forever to become not children. Much like how a dog is of child bearing age after 2 years while a human might first start to develop speech skills.

        -Now here’s the only part that really matters: Lu outright reverse aged into a child. She regressed both physically and mentally. No matter what she was, she is a little girl NOW.

        -And to hammer the point home that she’s pedobait….. she has her own pedo butler who gave her a “flat is justice” speech in the first comic they appeared in. The bait has been taken in her own universe.

      Um, no? If I recall, that was always the case. Also, Sharpshooter Syndrome gives crit rate and add damage, as well as a chance of inflicting Headshot with Silver Shooters. Plus, Artillery Strike has the LUXARY of choosing where it hits. As for War Prelude, it only increases the damage of COMMANDS AND ACTIVES, meaning Special/Hyper are unaffected, unless you’re on the receiving end of the damage.

      As for Artillery Strike VS Sword of Victory, I won’t argue it until the Sword of Victory page gets updated, ’cause it looks like Victory currently does less, but the page doesn’t show PvP values yet.

        SoV got buffed to really dumb proportions apparently. Activation hit does almost 5k%

        War Prelude’s startup damage got more than doubled. It seems to be fair that a buff skill should not be doing pandemonium level damage
