Il Cavaliere delle Rune è un abile spadaccino che riesce a distruggere i nemici anche con potenti magie, tra cui l'incantesimo delle rune: Elsword ora può sostituire le palle di fuoco con delle speciali sfere magiche, chiamate rune, che vengono scagliate contro il nemico.Le rune sono più potenti e veloci delle precedenti palle di fuoco, ed anche più grandi. Distruggi i tuoi nemici con la spada o polverizzali con la magia!

Elsword dopo tanti viaggi, comprende che deve aumentare la sua abilità nella magia. Perciò va da Rento a Peita. Egli gli spiega che devo portarli dei cristalli per fare delle rune, che permetteranno ad Elsword di sostituire le palle di fuoco. Dopo che Elsword ha raccolto i cristalli, gli viene "tatuato magicamente" sul braccio sinistro il simbolo delle rune. Ora Elsword può usare l'incantesimo delle rune per ustionare i demoni e sconfiggerli con possenti spadate.

Secondo cambio di classe

Template:Cancellazione Raggiunto il Liv. 35, un Cavaliere Magico può avanzare a Cavaliere delle Rune.
Cavaliere delle Rune può anche essere ottenuto usando l'item Marchio del Cavaliere delle Rune acquistabile nello stop.

Cavaliere delle Rune

  1. Parla con Aron in Altera.
  2. Ottieni 5Memory Alloys da qualsiasi mostro Nasod nella regione di Altera.
  3. Sconfiggi:
  4. Vai a Peita e sconfiggi Guarriero Dyurahan in 5-1: Ingresso del Tempio 4 volte.
  5. Ottieni dei drop dai mostri nella regione di Peita:
    • 5 Cristalli Magici Purificati dai Necromanti Vargo.
    • 5 Footprint Rock Fragments da qualsiasi Golem.
    • 5 Purified Power Crystals da qualsiasi Soldati Vargo (tranne i necromanti).

Puoi Transcendere at Lv 70.

  Runes

All fireballs used in combos are replaced with runes.

  Exploding Rune

After doing the standard   combo, summon a rune directly in front of you and expand it, making it explode and launching enemies into the air. Can be looped by using actives or having high Action Speed.

  • Post KR 02/14/2013:
    • Launches a lower distance.
    • Shorter delay after exploding rune.
  • Post KR 07/09/2015:
    • Fixed error where Rune explosions sometimes appeared for     command even though the command failed to execute due to falling down.
  • Post KR 07/23/2015:
    • A fireball version was given to Magic Knight instead, and is simply affected by Rune Slayer's Fireball to Rune conversion below.

  Aerial Rune

Replaces Magic Knight     combo. While airborne, casts a rune in the air and then propels it downward at a 45° angle, covering a moderate distance and pierces all enemies. Unlike the old version, before launching it down, you pop the rune out. Rune can be absorbed but not reflected.

  • Post KR 2/14 patch:
    • Allows you to air dash immediately after     (Meaning you can keep doing     in a straight line until you mess up). Video
    • Removed the hang time after shooting the rune.

  Flame Swing

Nearly identical to Elsword's normal     , the 3rd and 4th   are now engulfed in flames and it no longer knocks down. The flames do magical damage.

  • Note that the flame slashes are both Vitality and Destruction: The flames are Destruction, the slashes are Vitality.

  Flame Pierce

Perform a dash attack nearly identical to the one used by Elsword's base class, but with the sword engulfed in flames on the final piercing blow.

  • Note that the flame slash is both Vitality and Destruction: The flames are Destruction, the slash is Vitality.
  • Magic Knight is able to perform this combo before becoming Rune Slayer, which was likely done to replace its previous dash attack extension.

Curiosità

  • Dopo l' avanzamento da Cavaliere Magico a Cavaliere delle Rune le normali palle di fuoco di Elsword vengono sostituite con delle Rune, le quali viaggiano più velocemente e sono più grandi rispetto alle normali palle di fuoco.
  • Inizialmente l' idea del Cavaliere delle Rune era stata ripresa dal Cavaliere Magico, applicando sulle spalle di Elsword una specie di mantello con delle carte con sigilli sulle spalle. Idea scartata, perché rendeva poco l' idea di cavaliere.
  • Questa è l' unica classe che manifesta un leggero sorriso nella Idle pose, a differenza delle altre.
  • La runa principale del Cavaliere delle Rune (una specie di 3 circondato da un drago) è divisa tra entrambe le sue spalle (il 3 sulla spalla sinistra ed il drago sulla spalla destra) ma per evocare le rune usa un solo braccio. Di conseguenza, i tatuaggi sono per un fattore di estetica.
  • A conferma di ciò, i tatuaggi spariscono insieme al set avatar promozionale.
  • Il testo sotto la runa è "The time is near", ovvero "Il momento è vicino".
