Time Trouble Chapter 1~3 Rough pdf
Here’s a nice holiday present. I finished translating chapter 3(Which was longer than Ch1+2 combined) in two days just so I could get it out by Christmas Day.
Although this is just a rough since I rushed a bit with minimal proofreading.

So, the person he wants to save is Eve or his parents since he used the singular for “person”?
It’s a rough translation, there are bound to be errors. Try waiting for a better translation before trying to make sense of it.
The original text is singular too. It hasn’t been revealed who he wants to save at this point. Could be someone other than his parents that was important to him in the past.
But he probably did not mean Eve during the point where he said that.
True, it can’t really be Eve since even if he would have lived a similar scene because he travels through timelines, he didn’t seem to have had any thoughts about her in the manner of “I must protect her from being destroyed” until the very end and in the very end he only noticed the “bad end” until the last four lines of text.
I actually want them to drop the whole “I want to save my parents, can’t save them, I’ll go insane” bit though, it doesn’t fit.
Actually, part of why he goes insane is because of how much work he’s done to try to go back to his own past, only to end up in an alternate world.
Flare Kyn, that’s pretty much the same thing, honestly. It’s a pretty poor excuse, probably because it’s only a backstory, so there’s little to no explanations (more details) of how the characters feel and all.
I know he went insane for several reasons. Besides being already a bit on the insane side because of his stay in the archives for a very long time, he also went insane when he saw that there was another him with his parents. The realization of his calculations, his research, etc, being wrong and the realization of being in another timeline, made his mind go a bit awry.
So he pretty much said “fuck this world” and that became his hobby, as his backstory says he’s destroying other timelines for the sake of it.
It’s just that this ends with that. You already have the ending. There’s nothing more to Add the Diabolic Esper or Add in himself if we’re going that route.
Look at Mastermind and Lunatic Psyker. They’re not as mad as Diabolic Esper. You know why? Because THEY DIDN’T TRY TO GO BACK IN TIME!
Plus, Time Tracer found himself in a GOOD alternate timeline. He could have just accepted that world and lived in it. BUT NOPE! HE TRIED TO GET BACK TO HIS OWN WORLD’S PAST, WITH CONSTANT FAILURE INSTEAD OF ACCEPTING THAT THERE’S AT LEAST ONE ALTERNATE WORLD WHERE THE TRAGIC DEATH OF HIS PARENTS NEVER HAPPENED!
It’s because they had other goals, that’s why. Time Tracer wanted to save his parents because he found a way to control time.
Why would he accept such an ending? It’s called an alternate timeline because it’s not his. Since there’s another him together with his parents, it’s obvious those aren’t his own parents.
It was still a timeline that was better than his own past.
So you wanted him to just remain as a bystander to the happiness of someone else that has a past resembling his own? That, considering everything he went through in his lifetime, is impossible.
You want a kid that had a fucked up past, which rendered him slightly insane too, with the capacity to move through timelines and the past (and has ventured through a lot of them too) to just accept that he can’t find his own timeline and live in another him’s timeline?
If all of this isn’t enough to make you understand why that’s stupid, well, I’m sorry dude. How much did you want KoG to fuck him up before you could understand that his ending is tragic as shit and mostly unavoidable?
I do think that person he wants to save is his mom… I don’t know, but it seems it was quite focused on TTr’s splash art where there was a fragment showing his mom and his younger self
You know what I really don’t like about these LNs? It takes until Volume 3 for Aisha to show up.
