      Honestly, who didn’t see this coming?

      KOG is desperate to get people to play Rose. (Or to be specific, Koreans. I know the worthless KOG apologists on the NA forums are loving her. But KOG could shit on their plate and they’d eat it right up. They were just as fine with Elesis, Add, Lu & Ciel, the ST Revamp, etc.)

      Why does everyone play Add these days? Because he’s braindead easy mode.

      But they HAVE to get people to play Rose! They have to get the DFO players that came over to stay around! And more importantly, they have to redeem themselves in the eyes of the people for the PR disaster that was Rose’s reveal! A few LAN failures that required on site maintenance? The audience was still cheering when the MC lady called those cosplayers to the stage after those. But when Rose was revealed, the crowd went completely silent. People were seen walking out.

      And ST was underpowered as she was. THAT’S not going to get people to love her!

        but this does seem more like a desparation attempt on many parts…

        if KOG really wants this game to live, they need to do some real balancing and actually test the shit first…

        well, except for DW, LK, GA, and NW. their renewals actually look quite well off from all the stuff i’m seeing. but there does need to be a few changes to each that would make them better, all other classes than those 4 might need renewed again to get balanced

          seriously, look at KR pvp vids on DW, SSkillYes on LK, and Elated Kozin on GA and NW, cause THAT’S how you use them. lAmazonl also showed how to really use CrA

            Apologists ai? Bah just another bad day for KOG because the PVP is oh so important right? When they actually start to separate the skills into versions that can be utilized properly for one aspect and the other aspect that isn’t just PVP because tired of getting useful skills nerfed in PVE play.

            Oh as for Rose alright so they changed a few skill modifiers? Nope not desperate enough, the skills need to be so broken that this class will be the best class ever. (Sarcasm) Its time to learn right? No wanna shove this character down our throats? Nah I will stick to what I have till you nerf them all again and then I’ll leave this game.

      What are you talking about, her damage is still sub-par, all they did was reduce her hideously long cooldowns. (Operation Raze had a fucking 57 second on with the Heavy attribute)

      Uhhh… no. Everybody and their mother knows that Rose’s cooldown was just too high. I mean she had 30 second cooldowns on 200 MPs. Also her actual skill damage is still very average to below average.

      The only things that are in any ways stand out powerful about her at the current moment are what she got during base class. Everything she got during 1st and 2nd job are very average with ridiculous amounts of cooldown.

        Have you guys even seen how fucking bad rose is? Her skill damage is shit, her skills are buggy as fuck. Shes based on the cannon but all her new combos for it suck. the cannon is too slow and unusable. She had way to high of cooldowns. Operation raze with heavy hit attribute was 55s cooldown..

        You people over exaggerate and probably never even touched Rose. Shes fucking terrible from self experience i know this shit. She also needs skill fixes and skill dmg increases if anything.

          I’m ok with average damage for her, i mean, if she had absurd damage…wouldn’t rose be similar to a DiE that is everytime on dp mode? I agree that the fact that her damage is low but i think that her strongest skill, Operation Raze shouldn’t hit more than 12k damage with attribute. Oh and, an underpower class in a game with Overpower classes…is called balanced. Her systems works, low damage but with a set up that requires a little bit of time And not just 1 fkin button And you get a better damage And i’m not talking about 17k% (lookin’ at post renewal pre nerf conqueror) , i’m talking about like 12k% with quite some cooldown to prevent spamming and even if her cooldown is too much for your tastes you can use ECP skill to reduce just enough not to spam special active

            C’mon guys, have you forgot what ‘mid tier damage’ means? What ‘right amount of damage’ means? Only because a class isn’t top tier means it’s garbage, don’t always compare classes. Seems like you don’t play a class only because another class deals more damage and not because a class is fun or interesting

            this is the main reason why so many on NAs forums believe some classes (mainly DW and CrA) have been nerfed.

            they’re not nerfed guys. they either play differently (CrA), or their main usefulness isn’t where you think it is (DW).

            people really do need to KNOW a class before saying anything. it’s usually why someone says a class is nerfed, or why idiots dare try to say someone like DiE (LP too mostly) or either luciel are okay.

            please use a class before saying something… or at least pay attention to blatant “fuck you” moves from KOG. yeah, it’s to get more rose players, but they actually did something right for once…

            Well I am sure each class has a skill rotation pattern you work with skill wise just depends on how you utilize that character and honestly the way I always looked at it. I actually like a lot of the classes I choose because they were interesting granted I still can’t get into Add and I refuse to touch Lu/Ciel ,but overall I picked my classes because I liked to be helpful as a team player.

            Granted all the Ravens don’t fit this bill ,but I like Raven as a character, but yes that’s the overall general attitude in NA. Will not lie about that if its not doing the damage its not considered good and I think that’s a shame because each class is geared in a way not everyone is gonna pick up on right away or not at all. Just look at all the easy button options there are versus the ones that have different means to really damage something.

            and that’s the whole thing with the majority of players lately in NA (and i’m surre other regions have them too).

            if we were looking at damage alone, OVER HALF THE GAME’S SKILLS GOT NERFED. the changes between S3 and S4 have lots more skills getting better effects than more damage. there are a select few (like dark cloud and spurt) that took a major dive, but you still have to use the skill right to get the best of it (spurt still gets past defense after all)

            either way, KOG shows no signs of changing anything unless it’s rose related so, either get used to it, get another class/character, or stop playing, cause you still get the entire tree if you don’t like something.

            that’s all i’m trying to say, cause VP is honestly the closest to being nerfed (she honestly broke entirely even), and not many realise that there’s practically no class that got worse than before

            Its is common thing in America especially in the more elite and hardcore circles of MMO’s and trust me there always around, yes not just in America .but its seems a lot more prominent here in overall attitude.

            As far as Damage oh yes I already knew that remember and example I can think of at the moment, if you have a BH Blazing Wing got changed to damage gets weaker after cast and far the distance meaning if you want full damage has to be cast close to a target. Oh I already saw that Shockwave Cutter pretty much does that too and I believe a few other skills. Granted these skills were more geared to mobs.

            As for Rose i really don’t have a problem with the character at all. I think honestly after playing this game for so long it doesn’t surprise me anymore when they introduce the new character they will try everything in their power to get you to play that character. After all this was the company who admitted they nerfed a character because it was too popular see CN which though it looks they didn’t fix her combos her current ones they about up other things about that character and really your just re-adapting at that point.

            VP being nerfed again? I don’t see what needs to be nerfed on a character who uses a lot of Overtime DPS/ damage over time and effects. To be fair I don’t find VP’s that godly unless its in the right hands and I think that’s the key phrase. “The right hands.” They are very PvP based class honestly because in PvE the most I’ll see one do if I see one granted may see some during the event starting on the 13th. Is the use of Petit Ankor variations, Plasma Cutter, that hell stone move, The spell that summons a reaper I think causing a chance of like instant death or something and their Hyper for scene clearing. Support wise whatever they choose to be for buffing a team. Most of the time Magic buff which will now be class specific. Still trying to understand why they gave VP the buff that was given out by DW. Granted as an EM I am gonna miss being able to debuff the enemies with the Weaken Aura passive.

            majority of the renewals come down to preference really. there are a few where you barely could go wrong with skill choice (or not wrong at all). still doesn’t change that you gotta do things in a smart (at the least, logical) way.

            take for instance, VP. quite a bit got took off from her, but it was replaced with something else. plus if i remember right, aging now kills 70% mag defense and angkor takes off 20% more. don’t remember exact values, but that makes mag defense nearly non-existent and no one ever seems to bring that fact up.

            i also heard crap about way of the sword with IS when i EASILY switch modes with final strike and phantom sword. only his combos make modes hard to switch between, not his skills.

            like i said, depends on how you use a class. can’t call a class nerfed just cause you’re doing things wrong….

            Like I said if its isn’t the beat stick people want they will ignore details such as that, IS hard to maintain modes really? Next you will tell me know one knows how to read? But to be fair I don’t know much about VP other than what I see as I am no Aisha expert. Raven I can say much a bout because I’ve played all three and understand how each functions different from one another and play them in set ways that make sense, but that is correct. It depends on how you utilize the class based on a preference. All skills serve a purpose and have a job to do.

          from what i saw, her damage is fine. she can boost it by 70% for crying out loud. that’s 1.7 times the regular damage! even if her version of overheating doesn’t work on the skill, it still could get 50% more overall damage

          but the cooldowns, they did look like an issue. if a skill has a cooldown long as hell like that, it better have an insane amount of damage (hell, get ruinous impact 55 sec cooldown), or have a LONG buff duration like makeup

    I find it funny that people say her damage is shit, long CD and all…

    The damage is kinda low because she has OverStrike and Specialization A to boost even more the damage , if it was already high it would be too much overkill,

    CD is long so that you use her actives so the passive will reduce CD and she will enter OS to regen MP and nuke things (lvl 59 it was 3 seconds per active).

    It’s a simples cycle.

      If you’re aware of cooldowns and spamming comparison to other characters, she was….heavily outclassed. Normal burst moves are around 24 sec CD maximum, with 200 MPs having rather ignorable CDs at around 13 seconds.

      I’d rather not have a character sucking at PvE when the game is actually stable for PvE users right now. PvP is a mess because KOG decided to prioritize PvE over PvP. And priorities OP.

        they could honestly fix PvP if they tossed mods on it again (and in the RIGHT way)

        the main thing with PvP is that the basic damage mod to everything is there (roughly putting damage at 1/10th normal strength), but nothing past it.

        so if you wonder why a skill is nuking you so fucking hard, that’s why.

        what did KOG do for this? more HP in PvP, and it didn’t seem to increase much either. but seeing most classes don’t get 250k and skills can crack 100k in PvP easily… like hell that’d lengthen the matches and create “balance”
