Was D ever mentioned anywhere else besides this LN? I am certain that I’ve seen this (besides it being a really used letter) in the Elsword lore, either comics or in-game. Ran and the other demons surely have a higher “master” because of the lore, and it’s not the Demon God.

Anyway, the canon surely seems to be “infinite timelines, infinite possibilities”, but while they’re trying to do that, they’re now branching the same timelines too, which is weird, that shouldn’t happen for no reason. So obviously, we have travelling between timelines (which has happened for sure, since Add remembers certain things like Red Phoru yet that never happened) but we also have travelling back into the same timeline, which also happened, since when Time Tracer turns back, he takes the same spot of the old Time Tracer, and that’s canon too.

So that means D has time travelling capabilities that transcend that of Time Tracer. D notices Time Tracer’s time travel and accordingly reacts, changing the past in the process too when he prepares to send his demons.

But, here’s the catch, Eve didn’t have lemonade with Elsword, so technically, even if D is so godlike, he didn’t change anything BEFORE Eve and Elsword had that lemonade, to supposedly make them change their decision, and since we’re talking timelines, Add’s explanation does not suffice, he also seems to not like his theory.

There’s a plothole here, or we’re going to get an explanation later on. Because as long as Time Tracer takes the place of the old Time Tracer, that means it’s the same timeline, for it not to be the same timeline, that means Time Tracer is either killing every other version’s conscience or they take his place, then again, that could make sense in an “infinite timeline, infinite possibilities” scenario, since there are infinite Time Tracers travelling and taking the place of infinite Time Tracers.

So, it’s either this, a plot hole or a weird implementation of the butterfly effect. But it can fit since we have Henir and the idea of “distorted” timelines and shit like that.

This “problem” of mine arises from outside influences though. I’m not entirely sure whoever KoG hired or their employees are smart enough to make this function properly.

      You know, it’s KoG.

Oh and, thank you 2nafish for your translation. I am enjoying this LN.

Although, you could “localize” it a bit and fix the English errors. Hehehe…

  • Dimir says:

Thanks for your hard work 2na :) I’m curious how the story will continue.

Hmm. The picture of Rena doesn’t look like she’s leaning on her hip. Is that a problem with translation or that the writer and illustrator had some disagreements on how Rena was posing in the illustration?
