… You do realize that not every main character in existence is the best playable character of the game, right? The story of Elsword is, at the most basic element, Elsword’s journey to become stronger and saving the world. Elsword, Rena, and Aisha are the only characters that see the story quest dialogue unedited. Everyone else gets modified dialogues until the point where they join the group. Elesis was never the main character, she was Elsword’s GOAL, like how Zero was X’s goal in Megaman X.
Or like how Po wasn’t the best fighter, but he reached his goal of being with his heroes?

I’m not exactly sure that’s the same thing. Po was the “Dragon Warrior”, basically chosen by destiny. Elsword’s a kid who was trained by his sister when he was young, and was never “chosen” by some deity.

KOG keep denying they are trying to Ship Eve x Add. But with how the made the ending video for Sander, then this novel, do they even have any more credibility in their denial anymore from the beginning?

They didn’t deny their “relationship”, they merely denied their “pairing”. By them, Elsword and Elesis are a pair character. So I guess it’s the similarities.
Add is related to Eve through backstory though.

the best thing out of this whole lightnovel crap is takoman’s illustrations. at least, the ones involving the girls and not centering on add being mister brooding edgelord.
Still not sure what people mean by being brooding and edgy when it comes to characters. Some people say its when a character is always mad or thinking about a topic that no one else cares for and seems to cry out for the lack of exposure it gets.
You know those moments when people don’t understand characterization and all that shizzle? That’s the moment people call characters “edgy” and “brooding”.
Oh, you mean like how you don’t understand how main characters work?
Dunno, MC can vary in shapes and personalities. Do we have an edgy guy who broods over stuff like war and personal conflicts like JC Denton or Adam Jenson?
A character is a main character when they’re the main focus of the story. Their personality doesn’t exactly matter.
