The whole reason for Eve to act almost hostile towards Add is actually because that the original Add from that universe touched on a sensitive topic against Eve, he talked down and humiliated nasods. As soon as the TT Add replaced him and apologized, Eve quickly accepted. Add proceed to stroke her face but quickly added a remark about having reasons that could be explained later. If you try to look from Eve’s perspective, she would first get a little bit satisfied about Add’s apology then become curious about the reason Add had to become so strange, leading her to try to understand Add more, eventually getting them off a good start in relationship

Elesis seems to be an anomaly even in this universe. Even when her job path is correct, her personality is off. She’s acting more like what I would expect from Pyro Knight rather than Grand Master.
This tidbit about the alternate Add is especially interesting. I wonder if “Add B” is conscious and aware during all of this, or if he is in a superimposed state between life and death? I wonder if the Add we have been following will figure out a way to cheat similar to D so that he can bring Add B in to help him.
The dragon at the end seems implied to be Perkisas. It will be interesting to find out if this is true.

Personally, I think maturity is being able to understand and comprehend what is the best choice of action in a given situation.
If an individual starts to act like Elesis in a funeral, that person may come off as immature and unable to act appropriately.
If someone were to act like Add and touch a girl like Eve in a real life scenario, he might have cops called on him for being a bit touchy with a girl who looks like she’s around the age of 13 or so.
Good job, L. You picked the right definition yet fucked up the conclusion anyway. Our reality though has nothing to do with this piece of fiction. I guess you’ve fiorgotten the reasoning behind Elesis’s lack of tact, and that was to bait out Karis. That is in concordance with the parties goals, which is getting rid of the demons. She almost succeeded too, but at least she made her lose her cool, which is still a good result. Thus, by the definition, it was a mature act, or more specifically, a strategically valid action.
As for Add, his was an emotional reaction that was involuntary. The LN spoon feeds us everything, to be fair… It’s called guilt and Add suffers of it. This Eve just triggered it by just another Eve.
What I meant by it is that you will usually never have someone act like that. Even if the goal was the make her lose her cool, it still doesn’t fit the scenario. It was so they could have Rena press her breasts against Karis for fanservice. Even in fiction, that would most likely piss people off since it feels like they’re fooling around. If Karis had reacted normally, she would have attacked Rena’s breasts when Elesis shoves Rena towards Karis. If fiction meant people acted less like actual people. and more like from a harem anime, then I am not sure where fiction is going these days.
I know he’s suffering. The issue stems from how reality wouldn’t play out the same way. He would be taken in if someone were to see this, even if he had a good reason for it.
In the end, the characters are acting the way they do because the author wants them to do.

L, you don’t seem to understand much about fiction, or about psychology, or about social interaction…
Demons in Elsword have been portrayed as lacking “common sense” in all of the instances any important and true demons (AKA Lu or Karis) were shown. Lu doesn’t have the mentality of a child for example, as sone think. She outright shows lacking certain human aspects, unlike children that are simply uncouth, the best example is her contract scene with Ciel, or her outburst at the phoru in the comic. From other lore, it might just be their demonic energy that influences demonic behavior, or lack of empathy.
Anyway, Karis is not stupid, but she’s a succubus portrayed as shallow and arrogant, which is a narcissistic trait, which should be obvious by now that she suffers of (AKA the disorder) which is also in tone with her race and how it’s portrayed in a lot of media… Sexy, attractive “women” that use sex to drain the energy of victims which are more than willing to give it. What would you think pisses of something like this besides makung fun of her using those aspects?
Also it seems you missed tge part where they talked about how the doll can’t attack them and she seems to have been smart enough not to go against the whole Elteam, which would have been way out of character and would have killed the chapter.
So yes, it fits the scenario perfectly. What you’re missing though, is that the characters were reluctant to do this in the first place (outright stated by the fucking narrator) but they trusted Elesis so they went with it until they found out what she meant for them to do. Besides, you seem to hate these type of scenes, so maybe your bias won’t let you think this through.
As for your reply about Add. You’re conflating realism with reality. You know what else wouldn’t happen in real life? Elsword as a universe.
Then there’s the other issue, Eve is a robot. A VERY OLD ROBOT. Some 18 year old touching a non living thing endearly in real life isn’t legally problematic.
Nor is touching young looking but actually old women.
There’s no story in the world in which the characters act differently from how the authors think, they have no free will.
Every character acted perfectly fine, it’s just you in the end.

Especially when, oh, say, both characters in the exchange wear revealing outfits that make their breast sizes known to all and the only characters in the game smaller than Elesis are the ones that are literally flat. (Eve and Lu.)
It is not in character for Karis to get baited into a trap by Elesis insulting her boobs. It would be in character for Karis, or any narcissistic woman with D cups or bigger to turn it around and mock Elesis for having mosquito bites. And it would work since breast insecurity has been established to be part of Elesis’ character. (See: Rena’s comments on her “Staring enviously like Aisha.” Her blatant bra stuffing as Dark Knight which is given away by how she goes back to being small as Crimson Avenger.)
But of course, this is official Add masturbation fanfiction shifting to official Elesis masturbation fanfiction. As Elesis is KOG’s favorite child. We can’t have Elesis’ plan blowing up in her face, now can we?
…..What else can you expect from the same company that doesn’t know their own game enough to turn “Aisha is flat! Laugh at her!” into a running gag even though she’s always had breasts ingame? Complete with working one of those jokes into an ElType long after BtM and DW’s official artwork have existed?

A narcissist would feel enraged, especially one with so little common sense and as shallow as Karis. “Attacking back” does not depend on being narcissistic or not, since it’s unrelated to the disorder. You’re also not taking into consideration that Karis sees herself and is a high ranking demon, then the narrative itself says Karis wanted a serious talk, but she lost the control of the conversation when Elesis had the guts to laugh at her, especially when it’s their first time meeting.
Her plan also did not succeed, it had results which is entirely different. Maybe you should stop being a walking meme, I doubt anyone knows you for anything but the irrational hatred (or love of another, or simply your spam) of a fictional character, which also clouds your judgement or at least, if it’s an act, the act must follow in that direction or you lose your attention.

They seem to be rather confident, so I’m guessing they’re not thinking that it could be rigged. Maybe they’re thinking it doesn’t matter because they can take it or they didn’t think about it…
I mean, Lu is a demon and she’s not reacting either, probably meaning they can’t rig it or we’re nitpicking.

I’m lacking this Universe more and more with how the characters here are really good. Even CEm is just being Tsundere here, and how they stick with the game about Lanox is where Lu/Ciel join El Search Party.
Now a mystery character name Dragon is here in this Universe. Though the only Dragon in the game is Perkisas, but in here it’s probably just another alias of DiE or the truly Almight Perkisas himself. I’m looking forward to knowing who that will be.
I was thinking of the gate of darkness demon dragon but it seems is indeed perkisas (and aside from those 2, there’s also de skeleton dragon, also denip who is said to have the form of a water dragron, so there are 4 dragons in the game)

Elesis tho. Aside from the whole motive of her act toward karis, i personally think this is a comic relief scene (come on, elesis with bunny girl costume) jumped to a more serious scene which hinting another of plot key of this volume. We can expect serious story next chapter.
I know it’s already canon, or at least being the most canonical pair for eve, but HOLY- that’s one sweet as sugar a person like add could manage to feel for other!? He’s still grieving for CN.. What to expect from korean franchise (or game, or bussiness) koreans are so good with da damn romance. I’m in for all of this korean storyline romance thingy.
Judging from how CEm reacted to this TT, she seems to have a fine-relationship-turn-sour with b add. The way she’s not all rude slapping TT, she might have hope burried deep within her, or waiting for b add to mellow like this TT did. WHOA we know it’s hinted as MM in the first chapter but LP would perfect (sander clip much?)
