I have reached the conclusion that the most underappreciated playable Elsword character is in fact, Ara.
This is wrong. Ara is super cute, sweet, and has ample bosom. She deserves to be loved~.

Ara and eve are the most played and we’re spoiled in both pve and pvp since mid s3
KOG themselves have stated it’s Add. More Adds at the level cap than anyone else in the game.
Why do you think Add gets all this special treatment like a bonus stage he’s responsible for and a LN series? Add is the one keeping the game afloat as he brought in a new audience to replace all the leaving players after the ST Revamp + Elesis nearly killed the game.
At least on NA, Add isn’t that popular anymore, if I see 10+ add players in a day, thats really unexpected. NA at least, is flooded with Renas, Ravens, DCs, CBS and Aras. from what I can see (as a player that logs in, does dailies, and then goes to spar to wander around) Elsword, Aisha, Add and LuCiel are the least played characters. (Elesis and Ain are there somewhere in the middle)
The same goes to the board, the pvp ranking has only 2 or 3 Adds. Then there isn’g a single page without neither a Rena, Raven or Ara

Lu is very popular in fanart circles and is probably singlehandedly keeping the JP server afloat. (I wish I was joking. Japan really loves their lolis and it’s ruining the Japanese animation and video game industries. The worst thing about Lu being a somewhat successful character is that she is spreading Japan’s sickness to South Korea…..)
Ciel….. maybe. He only gets fanart because he’s attached to the loli and he has to compete with Raven for the same demographics because he’s basically a Raven clone but an incestuous pedophile.
Rena….. has boobs. Boobs contain the hopes and dreams of men. Her boobs are bigger than Ara’s so she steals attention away from Ara. But Ara totally deserves it more because she’s cuter and sweeter and has an actual backstory.

Did you read the Ciel comics from a while back?
Basically, they decided that Ciel didn’t copy Raven enough as is, so they decided to replicate the whole “This pointy eared girl reminds me of my dead loved one.” aspect. After already previously establishing that Ciel lusts over Lu. (In the ElType comic that was the first time we’ve even seen him none the less.)
…..Except that the one that Lu reminds Ciel of is his dead loli sister.
And to drive this point home, the ingame backstory quest where Ciel sees into Lu’s dreams and sees Adult Lu has a line specifically stating that all resemblance to Ciel’s sister is gone.

Rena is like the maternal figure, and its really kind and cute, always cheering his friend, but still people never think of that, she deserver more actual love, rather than a bunch of pervs
Every single chr get a lot of love from the comunity tbh (actual love, not just pervs, and that goes for both genders), Add still gets a lot of hate, specially since he is a bit of and anti nooby chr, most of his skill are balance arround MB, and since people see a chr as broken rether than thinking how to counter them first, so they think its broken and the hate begins

i think ara is cute too, but let’s face it… she STILL needs a few nerfs
10 enegy skill need, nerf in pvp, in pve tho Flying kite could do with a tiny buff, specially since how lag sencitive it is
and they still need to rework CR too, that her guns have a better dmg than eveysingle one of her skill is so stupid, it makes her broken in pvp, and her dmg in pve isn’t great, since well, she doesn’t have much for AoE skills that actually do something

She should be able to smile and instantly cause all enemies to lose the will to fight because her smile brightens anyone’s day. But noooooo! KOG won’t give her such an ability…..
she is at same lvl with raven in term of pvp most of the time, energy skill need some balance still(the 10 ones) she is somwhat good in pve, but no where near overpower
oh, and Endgame, don’t remember kog how cute she is, or else she’s gonna be left right next to VP in term of dmg

i agree she needs to be featured more and i do feel like kog under-appreciates her, especially AS
however, she gets some of the prettiest outfits in the game
maybe im biased but honestly her outfits are gorgeous thus i am on an endless quest to collect all the pretty ibs/ims (currently at 15 ibs and completed all dance sets that are im-exclusive just yesterday..actually did that in the span of a week)

MagicSpice its looking better than heroic set already, since you can change stats arrond how ever you want and you can have more too, and if you don’t like something you have well, it doesn’t matter you don’t lose the rest becouse of one stat

We just got 3 new dungeons in three consecutive weeks. Which is pretty normal as far as Elsword’s new dungeon releases go, at least for pre-Elysion areas.

Honestly, as much as I appreciate the translations and updates, I’d appreciate them more if the translator actually tried to separate the bare facts and his opinions.

As far as the fake Elesis and Add job thing. That was an April Fools but it went a bit out of hand and we’ve agreed among the Elwiki staff not to do something on that scale again. Spreading too much false information isn’t the best thing.
Actually forget if it was around April Fools or not. But we did decide to scale back on it afterwards.
But 2na isn’t exactly our only person who can translate KR stuff. But he’s definitely the one who is fluent at it and can do it quickly so we leave it to him to do it. Which we are grateful for.
